Hi, we are Linda and Michelle and we want to thank you for taking the time to consider us. We realize this is a difficult time for you and we really admire your courage and love for your unborn child as you make this important decision.

We are excited with our decision to expand our family through adoption because we know we have so much love and support to provide a child.

We have been together for six great years. We are both healthy and active and have been very blessed. Our relationship is very strong, founded in love and we are highly supportive of each other.

We have a beautiful “country” home which is located in a big family neighborhood in a great school district. We have a pool and big yard, where our family loves to come together. We also have a beach house just a few blocks from a gorgeous Atlantic shore beach where we relax during summers. We love to kayak, crab, walk on the beach and visit the boardwalk. Home is where the family is and we have two very happy homes.

Michelle is a sports enthusiast and is extremely warm, intelligent and funny. She loves to do yard work, plan vacations and grill cheeseburgers in the summertime. She was President of her senior class and is a lot of fun to be around. Linda loves spending time near the beach, either crabbing, going for bike rides or taking the dogs for a swim in the bay. She is extremely loving, patient and playful.

Family means everything to us. Michelle has an 11 year-old son, Tommy, who lives with us half the time. Tommy is a smart, funny, active boy who is very much looking forward to being a big brother. Our other two “children” are Tucker (chocolate lab) and Maggie (lab mix). They are both great with kids. Linda’s sister and family live a few miles away and we often gather and have a blast with their two kids. We are very close to our parents as well as Linda’s three aunts and their families, cousins and Michelle’s brother and his three kids.

Family tradition plays a big role in our lives. Every year we go out as a family and cut down our Christmas tree. This is something Michelle has done her whole life with her family and we always laugh and have fun. We usually follow up the tree cutting with hot cocoa, a warm fire in the fireplace and a Christmas show. Linda’s family has a Christmas Eve tradition (for over 60 years!) where the whole family gathers and shares thoughts and wishes for the New Year with each other. We then share a traditional meal and sing songs. We had the joy this past year of hosting the event for the whole family.

Halloween is another fun time in our house. We have an annual party for the kids which includes a scavenger hunt, bobbing for apples and of course goody bags! The kids love it and we do too.

We eat dinner together as a family every night. Linda is a wonderful cook and has a few specialties including stuffed shells and the best spare ribs! During the day Michelle is a Vice President of Finance for a large company and Linda is a Director of Information Management for a consumer company. We are lucky that we have reached levels in our companies where we are financially very secure and have flexibility in our schedules as we expand our family.

We are diverse in our thinking and have strong faith and values. We are strong and responsible and at the same time warm and loving. We want to instill these same qualities in our kids.
