Sean and Carey

We are thrilled that you have taken the time to consider us as potential parents for your child. We know this is a difficult time for you and that you have a good deal to think about when making this decision.  Hopefully, the description of our journey together as a couple and our overwhelming excitement to have a family will make this decision easier for you.

Introduction
We are Sean and Carey.  We met ten years ago on a perfect Southern California afternoon.  We fell for each other immediately.  One of the reasons why we fell in love was because we both wanted a family. The desire to have children is something we have been dreaming of while working at building a healthy, loving, and prosperous life together. Both of us live very healthy and active lives.  We have successful careers within the entertainment industry that keep us from worrying about money and provide us with a beautiful home to start a family in.

Sean
Let me tell you a little about Sean.  Sean grew up with four sisters and one brother.  Sean’s family lives in upstate New York in a beautiful Victorian home with a large yard and lots of pets.  He went to Northeastern College in Boston and moved to Los Angeles to build a career in entertainment and sales.  He has a warm and loving outlook on life.  Caring for his family is Sean’s number one priority in life.

Carey
Carey grew up in rural Maryland with two brothers and two sisters.  His family is very close.  He went to the University of Maryland and then began his career in the movie business.  Kind, generous, and caring are the three words that best describe Carey.

Sean and Carey Together
While the protection and care for our child comes first, creating a home filled with laughter and love runs a close second. We are both children at heart and can’t wait to read, swim in our pool, and play games with our child.  And when we are too tired to play our two dogs, Pougie and Spike, will be more than happy to.

We are both very active.  Carey enjoys swimming and Sean loves to bike.  We are constantly hiking and walking with our dogs.  Spending time at home is a priority for us as well.  Carey spends lots of time in the kitchen cooking while Sean spends his time gardening.  We have lots of friends and family around. We love having a full house with lots of love and laughter.

Our Extended Family
Pougie and Spike are the first members of our family. They are Yorkies that love kids. Our best friends Leni and Sean have beautiful twin girls (Abby and Ellie) who constantly laugh at and play with the dogs. We have watched and helped our friends nurture their girls and nothing would make them smile more than to have another friend to play with.   We have many friends who are a large part of our family.  Carey’s childhood friend, Susan, is very excited to help nurture and love an addition to our family.

Both of us come from large families, their involvement will be an important part of our child’s life.  No birthday, Thanksgiving, or Christmas will pass without a visit from someone in our extended family. Our mothers are already talking about making new holiday plans should they become grandmas before next year.   Having lived in Los Angeles for over 10 years, we have many extended members of our family to call upon for love and support.

We know adoption is a hard path to take and we have so much respect for your courage in being so strong and selfless.  Should you choose us, please know that we are eager and prepared to parent your child.  We are hoping to speak with you or meet you soon to talk further about this difficult decision.

Warmest thanks!
