Dear Birthmother,

We would like to thank you for taking the time to consider us to parent your child. We understand that this must be a difficult decision for you to make. We know that you only want the best for your child and we hope we are able to give you a glimpse of who we are through this letter. We wish you the very best in making your decision.

We are Glen and Allyson. We have been together for 6 years and married for three. We are excited about growing our family and we realize that adoption is the way for us to do that. Our relationship is a close loving and honest one. We share our home with our two wonderful dogs, Scooby and Sydney. We live close to the beach and water parks and to Disney World in the Florida, which is a great place to raise a family. Glen is a school teacher at a local high school and he also coaches football. Allyson is a homemaker (hopefully soon to be a stay-at-home mom) so one of us would always be home with the child.

We live in a new house with a big backyard that is fenced in. We have many friends who have children and we live in a neighborhood with lots of children. We spend most of our free time together because we enjoy each others company and have lots of laughter and fun. We both love the outdoors and love to play sports. Golf is our favorite thing to play together. Allyson has a reputation of being the best female golfer in the county. We also love to go to football and basketball games. We enjoy traveling and have been many places within the US. We have family in around the US and Australia so we will be able to show the child different places and cultures.

Our families and friends are thrilled and supportive about our decision to adopt. We have nieces and nephews and the rest of the family looking forward to having a new baby. We are emotionally and financially stable. With Glen being a school teacher we value the importance of education. We will give the child every educational opportunity that is possible. We will expose our child to a variety of extra curricular activities such as music and sports.
