Hi we’re Lisa & Scott. The choice you are making is a very brave, loving and caring one; and we are honored to have you consider us as caretakers and guides for your child's life-long journey. We can only hope to try and show you who we are as people, a couple and a family so that you can see that we would cherish your gift as our own.

We have been very happily married for almost seven years and together for over eight. We fell in love on our first date after talking all night. We love life; feel blessed to have each other and our goal is to make the most of everyday with ourselves and our daughter. We are active - playing sports, riding bikes, and traveling - and we love involving our daughter in everything we do.

We had always thought adoption was a beautiful choice, and we admired both adoptive parents and birthmothers for their decisions and efforts. After briefly trying to have a second child, we quickly realized that we were meant to adopt. We want to adopt to have the joy of being parents, to give our beautiful daughter a sibling to love and care for and to give the best home we can to a child.

Lisa is truly an incredible mother. Loving, caring, engaged and thoughtful - everyday. She is a stay-at-home mom who puts Leah's needs and best interests ahead of her own, and she will do the same for any child we are blessed to care for. She makes our daughter's world one of love, comfort and security. Leah is a happy, confident, caring, balanced and courteous - and I know the biggest reason is the love and care that is showered on her everyday. Our hope is that with your gift, we can provide the same love, support and devotion so that your child can flourish and grow.

Lisa is also a gourmet cook and an avid reader who enjoys sports activities like biking, hiking and rollerblading. She is a volunteer at Leah’s school and never misses her after school activities.

Scott heads a division of a national real estate company and enjoys his work, but he puts family first. He loves being with Leah and makes a point to arrange his work to spend the most time with her. He will do his best to share his joy and wonder of life through shared experiences, travel and lifelong guidance with any child we are blessed to be with.
Ever since she could speak, Leah has wanted a little brother or sister to love and care for. She will be an incredible big sister and a lifelong friend and companion for your son or daughter. She is fun to be around and a natural with other kids. If she could, she would call you and say thank you herself. She can't wait to be a sister.
Scott's immediate and extended family lives in the area, and Lisa's sister and her family visit regularly. Your son or daughter would be blessed with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins that will love him or her and provide them with a circle of friends and support for their entire life.
We are fortunate to have a beautiful home in a great neighborhood with other kids up and down the block. The school system is one of the best in the country, and Leah attends one a few blocks away. She spends many afternoons with her mom and friends at the park.
We believe education is important to broaden child’s opportunities in life. We will work to encourage our new child to learn, just as we encourage Leah through reading and exposing her to a variety of educational experiences. Our hope is that both our children will attend college and possibly graduate school. However, we have no pre-conceived ideas about what they should study or how far they should go.
We both grew up in loving homes and know how important it is for a child to feel accepted and loved at home so they can be confident and secure in the world.
Our goal is to provide a loving and supportive environment so that your child can become everything they want to become. If we are meant to adopt your child, we can promise to treat them as we do Leah - with love, devotion and protection
We sincerely hope that we fulfill what you are looking for. Thank you so much for adding the missing piece in our lives. If you would like to reach us, please contact AdoptHelp toll free at: 800.637.7999
