Our names are Cory & Geovanny

We are both delighted and honored that you have taken the time to read our letter. We can’t imagine what you must be going through in making such a difficult decision.  We admire your courage, your strength and selflessness throughout this very important time in your life. After reading our letter we hope that you will be at ease and comforted knowing your baby is being placed within an incredible loving and caring family. Our friends and family often tell us what wonderful parents we are, and they are elated we have decided to continue building our family. We can’t wait to embrace another little bundle of joy once again. Our hopes are that by hearing a little about us you will choose to place your baby in our loving home.

Cory:
 I was born and raised in Kansas.  I am the second born of 5 children and I have been blessed with an incredible childhood. I have the greatest memories of family gatherings throughout my life. After graduating high school I spent the next 10 years in the Navy. I started a career in advanced electronics and worked my way to becoming a computer engineer. Once out of the service, I continued in the computer industry for an additional 8 years when I decided to become a business owner. For the last 6 years I’ve fulfilled my dreams of owning several Ice Cream Shops.

Being a business owner I’m afforded the luxury of being able to make my own hours working as much or as little as I wish, from home or at the store. I enjoy plenty of time off to spend with my family & friends. I run the businesses from home when Geovanny is out of town and concentrate on being a full time daddy. In my free time, I enjoy being a daddy,  working out, cooking, reading, watching movies in our theatre room, playing games in our game room, and spending time with my nieces & nephews. I’m familiar with the great success of adoptions for this would be our 2nd baby and I have 5 wonderful cousins who are adopted.

Geovanny:
I was born and raised in Honduras, Central America and am bilingual. I’m the first born of 4 children. I was raised by my grandparents to the age of 15. One of the greatest assets taught to me by them are great moral values, respect, caring for and helping others which I continue to practice throughout my life. I moved to California to live with my mother and further my education. After I graduated from high school, I went into the medical field as a Nurses Assistant for 11 years. I then decided to pursue a career in the Airline Industry. I’ve been a flight attendant for the past 8 years. My schedule is very flexible. I work 8 days a month which allows me to be home the rest of the time. I enjoy fatherhood, going to the gym, playing sports, doing arts & crafts projects, decorating our home and having our nieces and nephews come for sleepovers - the best part of which is uncle Geo’s delicious homemade waffles with strawberries and whip cream!

We have shared our lives together for 12 wonderful years. Each year our love and commitment for one another continues to grow, becoming stronger and stronger.
We are fortunate to have a big beautiful home in a close knit community within one of the top ranked school districts in the nation for the past 11 years. We are centrally located to all of the schools, lots of beautiful parks with walking & riding trails, sporting venues for all ages, and even a petting zoo.

We adopted our son Christian, one year ago and we are looking forward to growing our family. We love taking our son to the Farm Stead where he enjoys feeding the animals. We love hosting play days for our son and his friends. We have just enrolled our son in Kindermusic, which we are very excited about.  We also spend some of our time entertaining family, friends, and neighbors in our home, playing games, watching movies, cooking dinners and sampling my many different creations. We also enjoy playing  at home with our beautiful Labrador retrievers, Bailey and Lucy which have become great pals with our son.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to read our letter and become more acquainted with who we are. We hope to have made you feel comfortable and rest assured about placing your child with us. Our son would be blessed with a sibling. Please know that if given the privilege of adopting your child, we assure you that we will love, provide for and protect him or her like no other could.  It will be such a blessing and an honor for us.
