Dear Birthmother,
We are so happy you are considering us to be the adoptive parents for your baby. We only commend you for your strength and courage and have the deepest respect for your unselfishness to share. Thank you for the opportunity to get to know us better.
We are Todd and Michelle, though this is a brief letter that cannot tell you everything about us, hopefully this letter will show you what is important to us. We have been together for six years and married for almost three years. We are a lucky couple because we are best friends, lovers and what brought us together initially continues to bring us closer in this ever-changing world. Living through life’s many ups and downs, we realized that there was a reason we found each other. Our mutual beliefs and love for family and friends showed us that we are meant to share our lives together forever.
We have a home in the country, where children have lots of room to run and play. We are blessed with a wonderful group of family and friends, whom have several children that we spend quality time with as often as possible. We were fortunate to have an opportunity to adopt a beautiful boy named, Izaak. We would love to extend our family so that Izaak could be a big brother to a younger sibling.

Together, we share a mutual love and respect for each other and those around us. Our home is where friends and family are always welcome and is filled with lots of love, warmth, laughter, and happiness. Family life is full of loving great-grandparents, grandparents, aunt, uncles, cousins, and friends. Our family is stable and has unconditional love to give to children. We want you to have comfort in knowing that your child will be raised in a loving home with lots of supportive family and friends that will help guide and support your child in whatever adventure he or she chooses.

We know this is the most difficult decision you will have to make and that making this decision based on a letter is that much harder. Our wish is that you have seen enough of us to know that we can be a loving family for your child.
