Hello!
Where to start? Our names
are Greg and Christina and we want
to thank you for reading our letter.
We’d like to tell you a bit
about ourselves and our commitment
to raising a family.
Two years
ago we found Adopt Help and,
through their assistance, were
blessed with the birth of our
son, Thomas. The experience
was so incredible that we have
decided to come back to Adopt
Help again, to help us reach
our dream of being matched
with another baby, so that
we can complete our family
and our dream.

About
Us
We’ve been married for nine years and share a love and friendship that
have become stronger with each year. The success of our marriage is due to the
trust, love, friendship, and great sense of humor we both share. It also helps
that we have a lot in common such as a love for the outdoors, travel, weekends
at the movies and the enjoyment of friends and family.
For work,
Christina is a sales representative
for the largest printing company
in the world (which means lots
of free books for the baby!).
Greg is a sales manager for
a large paper products company
and works at home, which really
comes in handy because he can
spend time with Thomas throughout
the day and help prepare dinner.
Because we are both in sales,
our schedules are flexible
which is great, just in case
a little one gets the sniffles
or has a starring role in the
school play.
Education
is important to our family;
both of us have gone on to
college after high school.
Christina attended the University
of Wisconsin-Parkside and Greg
graduated from the University
of Wisconsin-Whitewater, while
serving in the U.S. Naval Reserves.
Most of our
free time consists of us spending
time with Thomas and our dog,
Poonchka (which is Polish for
jelly donut). We love to take
them to the park or to the beach,
where both love to splash in
the water. Every night we love
to walk through our neighborhood
to get some exercise, relax
and talk about our day. Hiking
and camping have also been a
great way for us to have fun
over the years and we really
look forward to the opportunity
to take our own children camping
some day, so they can experience
their first campfire under the
stars.

Our
Family
Both of us have loving and
caring families back in the
Midwest. Christina was raised
in Racine, Wisconsin by her
parents Phyllis and Abel. Phyllis
is a 4th grade Bilingual Spanish/English
teacher (she is already teaching
Thomas Spanish) Abel is a computer
technician and teacher at the
local Spanish Center and also
plays guitar in a blues band
on weekends; he is one cool
grandpa! Christina also has
an older brother, Abel Jr.,
who is still looking for the
right girl. Thomas is the only
grand child in the family,
so Christina’s parents
are beyond excited about having
another baby in the family.
Greg was raised
in suburban Milwaukee, Wisconsin,
with a lot of neighborhood friends
he still keeps in touch with
today. His dad, Tim, is retired
after working for over 40 years
in a printing company. He has
been a big help to us over the
years by giving us a lot of
good career and financial advice.
Greg’s mom, Jean, raised
four children while working
part time to help pay for all
those big grocery bills that
come with four kids. Greg’s
mom has always had a heart of
gold and is a best friend to
both of us. Because Greg’s
five nephews and nieces are
already teenagers, Greg parents
are also ready for another grandchild.
In fact, when they retired four
years ago they even moved from
Milwaukee to Las Vegas so they
could be close to us and be
a bigger part of their grandchildren’s
life.
Greg has two
older brothers. Jeff, who works
as a psychologist, has been
married to Barb for 25 years
and has two teenagers; Mike
has been married to Jenny for
seven years, has three children
and works as a police officer.
Greg’s younger sister
Mary has been working hard as
a financial analyst at a great
company, while also working
hard as Godmother to Thomas.
We have developed
a close circle of friends in
California who have become a
second family to us. We spend
a lot of our free time with
our friends and neighbors barbequing,
swimming at the community pool
and celebrating birthdays and
other special holidays. We look
forward to our children growing
up with our friends’ children
just like we did as kids. Riding
bikes through the neighborhood,
having picnics and running around
like kids do!

Our
Home
We live in a very quiet, gated
community in Orange County
that is filled with children
of all ages and a great mix
of people. We have a nice yard
with a jungle gym, sand box
and toys for our son and plenty
of area to run. We also have
a great community pool which
is where most of the neighborhood
children come to stay cool
in the summer with their parents.
We’ve had a great time
with Thomas at the pool and
look forward to many pool parties
with our children and the rest
of the neighborhood.

Why
Adoption?
We have always pictured our lives with children. Both of us want to share in
the closeness only a family can have. When we discovered we couldn’t have
children, we realized that adopting a child into our family would be such a great
blessing. Our parents, extended families and close friends all feel the same
way. We understand you’re looking for a wonderful home for your baby, and
we’re looking to open our home and family to a new life.
Raising
a Child
We were both raised Catholic and also plan on passing on our religious values
as a foundation for life lessons. Respect for other people and love for family
is very important to us.
We both believe in hands on
parenting and spending quality
time on a daily basis. We talk
about our day over dinner,
love reading books before bed,
going on our nightly walks
and look forward to that first
special trip to Disneyland.
We believe in providing children
with the opportunity to become
involved with sports, music,
languages and academics, so
they can explore and find that
special talent that everyone
has. (Hopefully they won’t
want to play the drums!)
Final
Thoughts
It is important to us that our children know, early in life, that they were adopted.
Should you choose us, your baby will always understand how much care and loving
consideration you gave in placing him or her for adoption. We want to let him
or her know that you loved them very much and how wonderful it is that we have
them in our family.
We are both
so excited at the possibility
of adding to our family. We
look forward to everything
from the dirty diapers and
temper tantrums to the trips
to the zoo, picnics and hugs
when we get home from work.
We understand that this will
probably be the biggest decision
of your life. We want to thank
you for reading our letter
and we wish you well in your
decision.
Warm Regards,
Christina and Greg
