Dear Birth Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We cannot begin to image what you are going trough, but please know that we have so much respect for your courage and selflessness. If you choose us to be your child’s adoptive parents, we promise to provide the best life possible to your child and always love him or her unconditionally. Our desire is not only to have another child but to assist you in this journey. We know that this is a very important and difficult decision for you and we hope that this letter and our family will give you hope.

We are Monica and Rodolfo and we live in California. We have been together for 15 years and we are healthy and active couple. We have a two year old adopted son, Matteo, but our dream has always been to have a larger family.

We met at a restaurant, Rodolfo was the general manager and Monica applied as a hostess and we worked together from then until the arrival of our son, when Monica decided to be a stay at home mom. We became the best of friends before falling in love and getting married.

We have a wonderful and understanding relationship where we feel a deep love commitment and respect for one another. We were both born in Italy and fluently speak English, Italian and Spanish. We look forward to sharing these languages and cultures as a family. We visit Italy twice a year. We own a beautiful farm house in Tuscany, just north of Florence. It is a place many of our friends and family call home, especially in the summer when all their kids come to play with the animals of the farm and swim in the pool.

We enjoy growing our own vegetables, picking fruit from the trees on our farm and cooking great meals for our family and friends. We love to entertain no matter where we are and our home is always filled with a lot of great people.
We are a very family-oriented couple.

We have been fortunate to grow up in wonderful homes with great principles and strong boundaries and we will pass on what we learned to our children. Monica has an extended family with a lot of uncles, aunties, cousins, one sister and two nieces. Rodolfo has two sisters one brother and many nephews and nieces. There are very few things more enjoyable than time with our family. We feel that it is important for our children to develop relationships with all of their relatives and we try to make it a point to visit all of them as often as we can.

We love Italy and California and the diversity in culture they provide for our family. We have a strong faith in “giving back” to society, to cherish family and friends and to positively contribute to the world in which we live. We hope to instill the same values in our children.

We love our time together as a family. We are very active parents and, enjoy outdoor activities, bike rides at the beach, trips to the zoo, hiking, nice walks to the park, camping and more. We strive to maintain a healthy family where both of us are actively involved and dedicated to loving and nurturing our children. Our desires are for them to be confident in whom they are and understand that our love is unconditional. We want our children to pursue whatever activities, goals and careers they have in their heart and we want to do our best to nurture, encourage and guide them through the process.
