	Gary and Sharie We are Gary and Sharie and want to thank you for the opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. While we were teenagers we attended the same high school and were actively involved in our church youth group. During that time Gary became the best friend of Sharie’s brother, Chad. A couple of years after graduating from high school, Sharie moved away to Austin. She lived there for almost ten years before returning to San Antonio. Although Gary and Chad continued as friends throughout those years, Gary and Sharie didn’t have much interaction with each other during that time since Sharie lived elsewhere. Upon Sharie’s return to San Antonio, both of us began singing on the worship team at our church and we had more opportunities to talk and get to know each other. As we started dating and grew closer together, we learned that we had much in common and it was only natural to choose to build our dreams and join our lives together. Although we’ve been married for less than 2 years, we’ve known each other for the past 20 years.
	Mindy and Charles Thank you so much for considering adoption and choosing to learn more about us. We admire and respect you for the decision that you are making. By reading this letter, we hope you get a glimpse of our world, the life we can offer, and the love we can provide a child.
	Carmela I know that being a single mom will not be without its challenges but I am committed and confident that, with the support of my loving friends and family, my child will be raised in a secure and stable environment. 	Sandra and Rob Thank you for taking the time to read about us. You can feel secure and at peace knowing that a child will feel love, caring, and unity within our group of family and friends. As children, we both experienced homes where we could grow, explore, and flourish to become happy people. We want to give that kind of joy, strength, and love to a child. We have been married for five years. We always joke that we met through the “Internet Gods”. Rob had just returned from Okinawa, Japan where he was doing research and visiting family. We met for lunch and have been together since our first date, which was seven years ago.

	Aaron and Doug You have our great appreciation for taking the time to consider us to love, cherish and raise the child you are bringing into the world. This letter is our way of saying “Here we are” with open hearts, waiting for the one who will turn us into the most precious thing we can imagine: a family. We are Aaron and Doug. From the moment we met 12 years ago we knew there was something extraordinary about our connection. Although the timing wasn’t right in the beginning, the trueness of our connection proved itself when we fell in love 4 years ago. We have been together ever since, and are grateful for having each other in our lives. Both of us hold deep personal objectives for ourselves that we work hard to live up to, doing our best to lead lives of loving, integrity, and respect. We belong to a non-denominational church that is based on unconditional loving and acceptance. We often spend time with other families in our church community, doing volunteer work or just having fun.
