To be honest, it is a bit difficult to know exactly where to begin and where or how to find just the right words to describe how much this journey of adoption means to us and our entire family. It is a journey and a decision that we don’t take lightly. It really is difficult to convey just how truly excited we are about the possibility of adoption and adding to our family. Again, not knowing exactly how or where to start, perhaps we should start by introducing ourselves.
We are Bjorn, Gina and Jensen, a fun loving family of 3 who longs to be a family of 4! It’s our hope and dream to grow our family through God’s amazing gift of adoption. We admire your strength and courage for considering adoption for your baby. We believe that every child is a precious gift from God, and we feel that your decision is a result of your great love and concern for your baby. We pray that you will find wisdom and peace when making your decision.
We hope this letter will help you get to know us and all the love we can give your child.
Our Relationship
We (Gina and Bjorn) have been together for 11 years and happily married for 9 years. We met while sitting next to each other at a Florida State football game in 1997. The connection between us was instant. Our marriage is based on healthy honest communication, trust, and most of all a deep love for one another. We are best friends and lovers who have a deep, mutual respect for each other, our son and our family unit as a whole. Spending time together as a family is a top priority. Taking annual trips together with family and friends, going to all kinds of sporting events, exploring the nearby zoo and aquariums, going on picnics, playing at the nearby parks or simply cuddling up together to watch a movie, is what we cherish the most.
Bjorn about Gina
Gina, who is a stay at home mom, is a beautiful woman inside and out and just as lovely as the first day we met. She has a true gift with children and I love watching her with our son. He is blessed to have a devoted and extraordinary mom. She is an exceptionally loving, caring, and tender woman. She is not afraid to have fun. She will get dirty playing in the mud, act silly and dance around, and tenderly rock and sing to our son. She puts all of her heart into planning birthdays and holidays to make them so special for all of us. I love Gina very much and I know that she will be as dedicated to another baby as she has been to our son and our 9 years of marriage.
Gina about Bjorn
Bjorn is my best friend and partner in life. He is a smart, handsome, hardworking, loving and supportive husband/ father, whom I have great respect for. He is a wonderful, devoted dad and is deeply committed to our marriage and our family. I am proud to have him leading our family. He is a wonderful provider, working as an aviator in the military. He loves working with people and accepts responsibility seriously. Bjorn’s job has been great for the whole family, as we have had the opportunity to travel the world. Our son just loves and adores his daddy. They play hard together, but also have quiet time reading and cuddling and napping together. Our son is truly blessed to have such a wonderful role model in Bjorn. I love him so much and I am so thankful and blessed to share my life with him.
Jensen
Jensen is a happily energetic, fun, loving 2 year old, full of personality, and light. Love just pours out of him as he is quick with a
hug. He is a nature lover and loves to romp and play with all animals, especially our two dogs. He absolutely loves to be around children of all ages. He truly lights up when other kids come around. He will not only be a great big brother, but also a great friend.
We love our son dearly and it is our sincere hope that we will provide him with a strong foundation of unfaltering love, tenderness, acceptance and understanding, so that he may grow up to be a self-confident, caring, compassionate adult with a joyful, hopeful heart.
Our Values
Our core values of honesty, trust, respect, dedication, and compassion serve as the guiding foundation for all that we do. We hope to make our children aware of the power they have inside themselves to create whatever kind of life they can dream of having. Support settings that will allow our children to be creative, try new things and just be "kids" in a safe nurturing environment. We want childhood to be fun. We want to raise our children to be open-minded and non-judgmental, loving and respectful toward themselves and others, to value friendships and family, and to get involved in making the world a better place. We will encourage our children to be open-minded, to be accepting of others and to challenge conventional wisdom when they have a different point of view. We want them to trust their intuition as a guide at all times.

We promise to love your child with all of our hearts and to provide him or her with a home that is full of fun, laughter, love and family.
