Rene'e and Scott

Thank you isn’t enough because you are giving the most precious gift that anyone could ever give. Your unselfishness will always be remembered and respected. Your baby will know the story of your sacrifice and how you chose us to continue the love that you started by placing your baby with us.

Our Life Together
We have been married for almost 9 years now and have two wonderful sons, Brandon and Bryce. We live on a farm and have lots of animals, such as cattle, goats, sheep and llamas, just to name a few. We have a miniature Schnauzer whose name is Lucy. She is sweet and gentle. We are blessed to have two boys and have always wanted another child. We feel adoption is the right thing for our family. We have a lot to offer a child and he or she will be loved by all of us. We can’t wait! We are involved in our kids’ lives and activities. We have coached tee-ball, football and basketball and helped at the kids’ school parties. We are starting flag football, Scott, as well as, Brandon will be coaching Bryce’s team. We are able to work together and the baby will be with us. Our kids are very involved in the livestock auction business, and on the farm. We have been blessed with a home that is always open to others.

We have several family events each year, and we go all-out for the holidays as well as big celebrations for birthdays. Every Easter, we decorate and hunt Easter eggs. In the fall we go on hayrides, carve pumpkins, and have a Halloween costume contest. On the Fourth of July, we get together with friends and family to eat, talk and set off fireworks. As a family we love getting together for every special occasion.

About Rene'e
I was born and raised in central Missouri, growing up with a younger brother, Chuck and a younger sister, Ronda. My entire family lived nearby and we had a lot of family fun with uncles, aunts, cousins and grandparents. I still enjoy a very close relationship with my family, regularly keeping in touch with my siblings. Chuck and his wife, Airika have two girls, Victoria and Mayci. Ronda and her husband Shad, have a daughter, Jayde.

I grew up on a farm, and my family owned a livestock auction. In addition to cattle, we had an array of pets, from dogs and cats to horses and goats. My parents, Allen and Judy, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary this summer. I am very fortunate to have been raised by such wonderful people. They are completely unselfish and have shown us how to help people, and to treat them with respect. They have always been there for our family and have also been encouragers for many others. I am a Christian and attend a great church with my family. I enjoy cooking, yard work, looking for antiques, interior decorating, but most of all, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a big heart for others and a special place in my heart for kids. I have been blessed with two wonderful sons, Brandon and Bryce, along with my husband Scott. They are what makes my life what is it today. I have had different jobs, but the most important and rewarding thing in my life is being a mom to my kids.

What Scott says about Rene'e
Scott says he was attracted to her beauty, great smile and sweet personality. As he got to know her better, he grew to love Rene’e’s willingness to help and do for others, her big heart and the way she is with her family and friends. He really loves the fact that he can be himself when he and Rene’e are together.

About Scott
I was also born and raised in central Missouri, and grew up in a very close-knit family with my older sister, Shelley. We always did, and still do, spend the holidays at my grandparent’s home. My grandma is still living and has become Renee’s grandma, as well. We have a great time every year with all our family together.

My sister, Shelley, and her husband Anthony, have three children: Savannah, Alijah, and Sydney. Two of them were adopted, giving us personal insight into how wonderful adoption can be. My Parents, Jim and Hazel, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in February. They have instilled in us the importance of character, always reminding my sister and me that when doing a job, no matter what the job is, you do it well even if others will not see it. I want my children to live by the same principle.

I am a Christian and attend church with my family. I worked at UPS for 15 years, but have been fortunate enough to now own and operate a livestock auction with my father-in-law, brother-in-law and uncle. I enjoy working in our yard and on the farm, fishing trips with Brandon in Canada, family trips and hunting in Colorado. I also enjoy quiet times with my wife and kids on our Farm.

What Rene'e says about Scott
At first I was attracted to Scott’s good looks, beautiful blue eyes, and wonderful smile. Yet as our relationship deepened, I was attracted to more important things, like the way he treats me. Scott is one of those guys who is always doing the little things, sending cards, leaving cute notes at our house for me to find when he is not there, or sending flowers to let me know he cares. I have also always treasured the relationship he has with his family.

Closing thoughts
We are hard workers who are committed to each other and our family. We would love to add another member to this family for which we have worked to build a strong foundation. Thank you so much for considering us for your child! May you always know that you will hold a very special place in our hearts.
