About Us
We have been married for five years but have known each other for nine. We met out one night at a restaurant neither one of us had ever been. Both of us were with other friends but made a point to begin a conversation. From there, we spoke daily on the phone and quickly became best friends. We complement each other very well. Kerry is more structured, while Larry is more spontaneous. Our combination works well and keeps our marriage exciting. Having similar values and morals is so vital to our relationship. We trust, respect, and love each other as best friends do. Our house is in a suburb of Baltimore, Maryland in a quaint little neighborhood known for its charm and safety. Larry’s daughter is nine and I have grown up with her since she was six months old. We both love spending time with her and making memories! We believe that children need to experience many opportunities in life to become well balanced. Combining academics, sports, creative outlets, clubs, social events, family time, and travel is important to us. We look forward to being able provide this environment for a child to share between us.
About Kerry
I am a middle school math teacher who is thirty-two years old. I have been teaching for ten years and absolutely love my job. My passion is making all students realize that math is exciting and not as difficult to learn as they thought. I also tutor privately where I am able to chart the child’s growth, confidence and math skills. Both teaching and tutoring prove extremely rewarding for me.
I also enjoy spending time with Natalie, my nephews, and friends’ little ones. I grow very attached to children and love to play and interact with them. I have often been found babysitting our friends’ children to give the parents a date night. My hobbies include walking, reading, and interior decorating. I love to be able to use my creative abilities in my spare time.
About Larry
I am a hard working, thirty-five year old mechanical foreman. I manage a group of steamfitters, estimate, and layout multimillion dollar commercial projects. When not working, I have dedicated myself to coaching and supporting young athletes. My specialty is soccer and I have been actively playing for thirty years. Developing relationships with the boys, both on and off the field, makes coaching a top ranked soccer club well worth it.
I love visiting new places with Kerry and Natalie. We have traveled to Disney World, Washington, DC, New Jersey, Philadelphia, New York City, Texas, New Zealand, North Carolina, and will be visiting Jamaica and California soon. Besides traveling, my hobbies include soccer, movies, golfing, and reading.
About Natalie
One of our biggest passions is Larry’s daughter, Natalie. We have been committed to having her in our lives from day one. Natalie’s mother and Larry have a strong relationship in order to make the best decisions for Natalie. Kerry and I spend quality time with Natalie on a regular basis. We both have changed diapers, read books, played Barbies, practiced soccer, helped with school work, and continue to take an interest in Natalie’s current activities. We very much are looking forward to doing this again with a baby.
Family
To us, family is central. Larry’s parents reside in Maryland. They play a huge part in our life as well as Natalie’s life. It’s clear that Natalie adores, respects, and looks up to them. Larry has one brother who is younger by two years. Larry’s brother and wife have two children and are loving parents. We look forward to our annual beach trips to Ocean City Maryland with Larry’s entire family. Kerry’s mom lives in New Jersey, also teaching at the middle school level. Kerry is the oldest of three children. Her brother and sister love to travel and have settled in both the central U.S. and west coast. Whether it’s friends that have become part of our family or blood relatives, we just enjoy spending quality time with loved ones. We excitedly await the opportunity to bring a little one into our family.
