Dear Birth Mother;
We want to start by thanking you for having the courage to consider adoption. Bringing a life into this world and choosing adoption is one of the most selfless acts we could ever imagine. We believe it is a loving, positive choice for everyone, especially the child. We feel very honored to be considered by you and want to thank you!
About Chelsea and Steven:
We met 5 years ago – through a matchmaker of all places! Both of us were ready to meet our soul mates but hadn’t had luck on our own. Almost immediately we knew the search was over. Our families melded and in no time it was as if we’d always been family. We’ve been married for 3 years and feel our lives together have only just begun.
Even though we come from different religious backgrounds, we are very spiritual and share in each others traditions. Most important to us is being honest, generous, kind and respectful of each other. We believe taking the utmost care of each other will keep our marriage and family together and strong.
We live in sunny Southern California. Both of us are California natives and enjoy all it has to offer. Here we are close to most family members (on both sides) who include grandparents, aunts, uncles, lots of cousins and many god children. Time spent with family and friends is a huge part of our lives. All of our loved ones are looking forward to a new baby they can shower with love and attention. Living here also gives us the chance to spend lots of time outside in the mountains or at the beach – which we do every chance we get! We both LOVE spending weekends at the beach.
About Chelsea (by Steve):
Chelsea is one amazing woman. She is the most loving person I know and she makes me feel special every day. Chelsea is very creative, which is probably what lead her to a career as a make-up artist. She is highly respected in her field and she can even make me look good. One of her favorite things to do is cook/bake. I always say, “when she goes in the kitchen, something good always comes out”. She also shines when creating something with her nieces Emerson (6 yrs) and Grayson (3 yrs). “AwEe”, as they call her, loves to spend time with her little “nuts” as she calls them. The sheer joy she gets from spending time with them just melts my heart. Chelsea has a laugh that is infectious, and I hear it a lot because she laughs at my silly jokes. I think what makes Chelsea so special is that she gives me the space to be me and supports everything I pursue. This quality extends to everyone around her; she lets people be who they are. She is filled with so much love and it would mean the world to her to share that love with a child of her own.
About Steve (from Chelsea):
Steven has a big, squishy, loving heart. He’s one of those rare people who believe in really living life, being a good person and caring for others. His sense of humor and willingness to just to make me laugh is one of my favorite things about him. I never see it coming! We live in the neighborhood he grew up in and we are surrounded by lifelong friends and family. Some of his passions are: marathon running, scuba diving, traveling, cooking, hiking and sports (of all kinds). Steven is very smart, thoughtful and compassionate. All of these traits help in his career as an Insurance Producer. One of the best perks is his flexible schedule. It’s important to him to balance all aspects of life. He’s truly an amazing person whom I admire and love endlessly. All of these qualities are going to make Steven a very loving and devoted father – a role that he was meant to be.

We are two very loving people who want so much to be parents. We have a great life together. The one thing missing is a special piece of family we are unable to create ourselves. It is truly overwhelming to know we have the chance to be parents. We can’t wait to learn everything about the little spirit we are blessed to raise.
