Dear Birth Mother,
Choosing the right family for your child is one of the most selfless and courageous acts of love imaginable. I know that you are trying to make the best possible plan for the future of your child and yourself and I will cherish this gift of yours. I admire your courage and strength as you make these important choices.
Thank you for taking the time and considering me as an adoptive parent. My hope is that you will be comforted knowing that with me, you will have found a loving, warm, safe and nurturing home for your child. Just as you must have enormous hopes and dreams for your child, I also have a great desire to help fulfill those hopes and dreams for your child’s future.
I have wanted nothing more in my life than to be a mother and to love and nurture a child with all my heart. I always thought I would be married and have children in my home. Like many other independent women today, I am very committed to sharing my life with a child.
I have always loved children and I have put a great deal of thought into my decision to become a single parent. Having a productive life with many interests and activities, I find the only thing missing is a child to share it with.
About Me
While attending school at UCLA, I started working at the UCLA Medical Center for a group of physicians who invented a breakthrough medical technology. That experience helped led me to become an executive manager at a nationwide Dental and Medical Distributor. I am very fortunate to have achieved not only financial security, but also genuinely enjoy my career with a company that understands the importance of family, and that family comes first. The nature of my position enables me to be flexible in my schedule allowing me to focus and participate fully in my child’s daily needs.
I was born and raised in Southern California, where growing up in the sunshine state gave me the opportunity to enjoy the mountains, desert and the beach. Being an active and productive person, I enjoy playing tennis, bike riding, surfing and skiing. I enjoy traveling to destinations where I can take in the scenery and absorb other cultures. I can’t wait to share this with a child and see their excitement as they explore all of life’s experiences.
Having always been an active person since childhood, I love reading books, playing the violin and participating in sports. Many values that I learned as a child, such as respect, individuality, kindness, honesty and giving selflessly to others are things that I look forward to sharing with my child.
Home
My four-bedroom home is located in a warm and quiet suburban neighborhood on a beautiful cul-de-sac that will make bike riding, basketball, rollerblading, skateboarding or any other outside activity safe and easy. The backyard is fenced-in and has plenty of room for swings, slides and a sandbox. My neighborhood has families that have lived in their homes with their children and their grandchildren for over thirty years! My community has excellent schools, and the elementary school is within walking distance. I take pride in my neighborhood and home.
Family
The child that I am blessed to parent will have a large loving support system in place. They will have a strong family bond to their grandparents, my sister, her husband, and my brother. Since my sister and brother are childless, my child would be the center of attention, welcomed into my family and loved beyond measure. I can only assure you that with choosing me as your child’s role model, he/she would be cherished, showered in affection, given nothing but dedication, with endless love from an entire family eagerly anticipating the joy that a child would bring into all of our lives.
In addition to my immediate family, I have a large extended family with many aunts, uncles and cousins who I see frequently. My extended family is so large that it gives me the opportunity to visit them in Europe!
Not only do I have a supportive family, I am also very fortunate to have a tremendous support network from my close friends and co-workers. I have loving, supportive people all around me who are excited for me to finally become a parent and tell me what a great mom I will be. They are all anxiously waiting for me to become a mother. Knowing that I have always loved and adored children, I have observed how many of their children have grown into wonderful young people. Seeing how quickly all of these children have grown-up, only confirms that I am making the right decision to become a parent. I seem to have a natural, easy way of relating to children, recognizing and appreciating their unique curiosity, spontaneity and innocent wisdom. I have the support of all the loved ones involved in my life, and I know that they will always be there for me and for my child.
