Dear Birth Mom,
We are very happy that you are taking the time to read this letter, and have given us this opportunity to tell you about ourselves. As a couple, we have always been excited to start a family of our own. We feel that your courage and trust to make this decision to entrust your child with us is something that emotions and words cannot describe. The passion in our lives is to enrich children and offer them guidance and love each and every day.
We own a childcare center called Precious Angels. We help children learn and achieve their milestones. Our philosophy is "come soar with us." We hope you will feel comfortable with us, knowing that we take care of children everyday. We look forward to being able to help you fulfill the hopes and dreams that you have for your child. It is our goal to have you feel secure with us adopting your child.
Why Adopt?
We chose to adopt because we have not been successful in trying to have a baby biologically. We have always wanted a family from the beginning and feel that we would be incomplete without children. Our relationship with our parents and siblings is a very important part of our lives. We look forward to having our own family unit.
Our Life’s Philosophy
Ronnie and I have known each other since high school because his brother was a friend of mine. About 10 years later, we started to date and realized that we were right for each other. We knew we were soul mates and wanted to share our lives together
We both are ambitious and go-getters in life. We realize that life is precious and each moment matters. Our values and moral system relies on respect and communication.
We feel that life is full of challenges and compromises. We want the chance to offer children a loving, caring environment with morals and values. The relationship between our children and us as parents should be positive and encouraging to each other. We believe that guidance and discipline should be implemented through positive reinforcement and role modeling.
About Us
As a couple, we love to travel. We travel to Arizona a lot because we have a vacation home that we go to with family. Horseback riding, hiking, and the safari zoo are a few places that we enjoy. Road trips are very adventurous to us because we enjoy seeing the scenery from state to state while driving to Florida to visit with Ronnie’s daughter. Ronnie and I love the outdoors so we spend as a lot of weekends camping at the Yogi Bear camp site with our nieces and nephews. In our complex, we have a pool that we swim in all summer long.
Our career choice will enrich our children’s life because they will be around other children every day. Our childcare facility has children from 6 weeks to 12 years. We are fortunate to be able to enrich children’s lives as a career. Families trust us every day to teach and nurture their children. The children also learn social skills, manners and relationships with others. They leave daily and say, “I can’t wait to come back tomorrow. I will miss you.” Our curriculum is High Reach Learning, which also teaches sign language as well as yoga classes. Creativity and self-identity is brought out by the planned activities and the children’s interests.
We are able to have family time in the evenings and on weekends. We look forward to doing family things like camping, traveling, visiting zoos, museums, etc. Ronnie is a carpenter and has job assignments that allow him to come home early or have some time off during the week. He looks forward to spending time with the kids as well.
Due to our love for children, we are excited about nurturing a child as an addition that would make our family complete. As a childcare owner my hours are flexible, so I available to spend time with a child and Ronnie as a family having a supportive staff will give me the opportunity to know and see our child grow as an individual. The child will be following a daily routine like they would at home. I have the privilege of being able to around our child all day as well as run the childcare. As working parents, we have a good balance between home life and work life.
About Ronnie from Alison
Ronnie is a wonderful person both inside and out. He is a good-hearted person who sacrifices things for his family. He is always willing to help others. He is faithful and loyal. He tries to take on new challenges and is always eager to learn. Hands on work activities are his favorite.
Detailed and dedicated are two words that describe his work ethic. His patience with others is one of his virtues. Ronnie has a daughter who he is actively inspiring. She is now a young woman who has just graduated from high school.
Friends and family refer to Ronnie as a skilled man of trades. All of our cousins ask Ronnie to teach them how to operate tools and to teach them remodeling skills. Relatives and friends are actively pursuing his handyman skills.
While spending time with nieces and nephews, he plans activities that encourage them to use creativity and imagination. They look up to him as a role model .He shows them by example how to be respectful and compassionate. Our nieces and nephews look forward to coming over to cook their secret recipe for meatloaf and mashed potatoes with Uncle Ronnie.
About Alison from Ronnie
My wife Alison is a most impressive woman. Alison is a very open and a real people person. She loves to talk about everything and anything and is a great listener. She hears what I have to say and gives me positive reinforcement.
Alison is a very unselfish and giving person. She is always willing to give a helping hand to those who need her such as family and friends. Alison has several close friends and colleagues that respect and cherish her friendship.
Alison has a great love for children. She has been working in the childcare field for over 10 years and now has her own childcare facility. This has been her passion- to work with kids. She has so much love to give and would be a great mother.
She is very artistic and creative. She has added several of her creative ideas to her daycare center. All the children benefit from her artistry and creative flair. They all love Miss Alison.
Family and Friends
Our family and friends are very close to us. Everyone is looking forward to us having children. Their support and love show that they are just as excited as we are about bringing a child into our lives. Our friends have commented to us that since children are such a passion for you, you should pursue adoption. We feel that we would make excellent parents. Our parents are really looking forward to becoming grandparents. Ronnie comes from a large family and while I only have one brother, I am also very close to my twenty first cousins that have 17 children. I also have 3 godchildren that we take an active part in their lives.
