Antonio and Cynthia
Antonio and Cynthia have been married three years. Prior to marriage they found that they each wanted to adopt a child. They love children and are filled with excitement to welcome their first child into their home. Cynthia is looking forward to being a stay at home mom and devoting all her time and love to their new baby.
Our love story:
One day while Cynthia was sitting at Jamba Juice, Antonio came by. They talked for two hours, and this was the beginning of their dating journey. Cynthia quickly discovered Antonio had a good heart and wanted to get to know him more. Their courtship was slow and they took their time getting to know each other and soon fell in love. Cynthia discovered Antonio loved spending time with his niece and newphew and that at the age if seventeen he chose to be a youth counselor. They dated for one year before getting engaged. They married in a Catholic church. It was a grand day.
About Cynthia:
Cynthia grew up with three sisters, two older and one younger. She attended Catholic school up until high school. As a young girl she spent a lot of time at the beach near where we lived. She also spent a lot of time playing at the park and rollerskating. She has old fashioned morals and values. As an example, when Antonio and Cynthia were newly dating, Antonio was not allowed in the house where she lived with her family until they got to know each other more and before introducing him to the family as a formality. Cynthia loves her family and does a lot to help provide for them. She keeps in touch routinely with her Niece and newphews. One of her newphew's is a baseball pitcher and Antonio and Cynthia will go to games to watch and support him.
Cynthia also gets together for lunches or dinners either cooking for them or eating out. Cynthia will go grocery shopping for her Niece who lives on her own and works to supports herself. To help support her Niece while attending night school to be a nurse, Antonio and Cynthia pay for her auto insurance. Cynthia's two older sisters reside in San Francisco. One sister is married and works as a Medical Assistant and has a sixteen year old daughter. Her other sister has two boys both in their twenties. Cynthia's younger sister resides close by and works as a court reporter and has one daughter in her twenties. Cynthia's mother works part time and her father is retired. One of her newphews attends college and is a pitcher for his baseball team. Her other newphew supports his family and has two children one age ten and a new baby girl eight months old.
Cynthia loves animals and children. In Cynthia's spare time she has donated years of her time rescuing homeless cats and stray dogs. Her other enjoyments are spending time at home with her husband, dinning, reading, walking their dog, movies, live theatre, cooking for family, and visiting with family and friends. And her new interest, is to volunteer as a foster care court advocate. Cynthia takes care of her family and home. She loves finding projects at home to make things beautiful, neat and clean.
About Antonio
Antonio's birth father died of cancer when Antonio was three months old. Antonio' s mother remarried and Antonio was adopted by his new father. Antonio has two brothers, one sister, three nieces, and seven newphews. His younger brother is an Engineer married and has three young boys under the age of ten. Antonio's older brother is in Sales and has three grown sons all in their twenties. Antonio's older sister is an assisted living nurse with one daughter and one son both in school. His mom and dad are retired and have been married for thirty eight years. Antonio's family all live locally. Antonio attended a great public school. He was always told by his teachers how smart he was. His test scores were always among the highest in school.
He studied pre-law in college and had dreams of being a judge. However, Antonio now works in high tech and really enjoys his work. He has a strong work ethic and is a hard worker. With this job, he is not required to go into an office. He works from home or is in the field. He sets his own hours which is great for a family life. Antonio loves helping people, his collegues and friends. With his positive attitude, support and encouragement in their career and has even helped them find work when they were out of work. He is one of the top producers at his job and many people admire and respect him. Antonio is humble and has a good outlook in general about things. He has a good sense of humor with a kind heart. He is accepting and easygoing. Cynthia loves these qualities about him. For the last two years Antonio donates his time and volunteer's by helping Cynthia's newphew as an assistance baseball coach. Coaching young boys different age groups to learn the sport. In addition, in his spare time he enjoys playing golf, going to the gym, reading and spending time with Cynthia, visiting family and friends, dinning, live theatre and movies.
About Us:
Antonio and Cynthia each had an interest to adopt prior to marriage. They love children and just want to open their lives to any child whether that happened together or through adoption. They are financially stable and live comfortable lives. They are both people with good hearts, generous and loving. As parents they will be very loving. They are looking forward to an addition to their home and family. Antonio is especially looking forward to playing baseball and all sports with his son. Cynthia will be a stay at home mom and is very much looking forward to motherhood. They each have experience with children as Antonio volunteered to be a youth counselor at the age sixteen and continued on for seven years. Cynthia helped raise her Niece as a baby and continued on through-out her life and as a result are very close. They are both Catholic and plan to place their child in a good catholic school that offers great academics as education and religion is important to them.
They live in a upper middle class neighborhood adjacent to a park. They have a dog and cats. They believe love is the most important to give to a child. They believe talking to their child and explaining right from wrong is the best way to discipline and time outs. They do not believe in hitting children or animals. They both have good morals and values. Like being kind to others and having manners, valuing family, education, friends and sports and keeping out of trouble. Friends and family who know Cynthia and Antonio know they are good generous people that will offer a wonderful life for any child.
Our Home & Neighborhood:
Their home is an older Victorian. The house is two story, two bedroom hardwood throughout. The home has a good size backyard, safe with high enclosed fencing great for a child to play comfortably and safe. They live across the street from a park where they plan to spend time playing, picnic and relax. The park offers a childrens playground, soccer, baseball, indoor pool, tennis courts and a recreation center for children. They live in a clean residential neighborhood convenient to shopping center, church, bookstore, schools, ice-cream parlor and restaurants.
Our Family:
Antonio and Cynthia both keep in touch with their family regularly by phone and visits. Fortunately, each of their families live locally and both set of parents are still living. In total between the two they have four sisters, nine newphews and five nieces. They see their family on all Antonio's family birthday's and Cynthia's family birthday and holiday celebrations. As another way to keep in touch with family and friends, Antonio and Cynthia plan annual picnics each summer at their local park, and have a Christmas party every year at their house with Santa's attendance. Cynthia cooks Thanksgiving and has her family over. Christmas eve we go to Church attend mass then go over Antonio's brothers house for dinner with all his family and exchange gifts. Christmas day Cynthia cooks and her family comes over then the next day they see Antonio's parents and usually spend the night at their house. They alternate and make sure to spend time with both families. They love their family. They feel blessed both families are local within driving distance.
