To a very special person
We are Lilian and Armin and we couldn’t be happier starting our adoption journey with you. We realize what a challenging decision you are facing and commend you on being so courageous and selfless. We will always be thankful to you for helping us complete our family and for the incredible joy you will bring us. Hopefully as you get to know us better, something about us will stand out that will make you feel as though we are the right match for you and the life you envision for your child. We are so excited and ready to be parents.

OUR LOVE STORY
We met through our family 14 years ago and our long distance friendship deepened and grew into the loving and kind relationship it is today. We’ve been married for 5 years. Our wedding had an amazing view overlooking the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by family and friends. We are very much in love and ready to start a new chapter in our lives. We have tried unsuccessfully to have a child; the results of these efforts have lead us to the path of adoption and we pray that God will bring us a child that needs a stable and loving home. We have a strong relationship. We know how to deal with ups and downs in life. He is definitely my soul mate and we spend lots of time together. Traveling is a passion of ours and so far we visited many gorgeous and exotic places like, Dubai, Mauritius, Canada, Hawaii, Spain and Switzerland. We also love to go to the Zoo or Wild Animal Park. Armin likes to see the big cats and I love monkeys! We live close to the ocean so we go for romantic walks and watch the sunset. The beaches here in San Diego are great to bring our future child to and we are looking forward to building some sandcastles together! We enjoy going to see a great movie at the theater. We also like cooking and barbecuing in our backyard.

Meet Armin
Armin was born and raised in the state of California. He grew up in family of six. He is the oldest of four siblings. He has three sisters all of whom have children. He has a nephew in the Army and two nieces are in college. One nephew and two nieces live in Switzerland. His father is from Switzerland and his mother is from El Salvador. They met here in US and have been married for 53 years, sadly his Dad recently passed away. As a teenager, Armin was sent to school in Switzerland for a few years. In his mid-twenties Armin graduated from University with a degree in Business. Afterwards he joined the Navy and was commissioned. He was hardworking and very dedicated in his service. Sadly his career was cut short due to a stroke in 1997 after 11 years in the Navy. Armin is able to support your child through multiple income sources such as Navy retirement pay and VA disability pay. He is currently working on his Accounting certification.

When I first met Armin there was something special that caught my eyes. We connected immediately and like each other a lot. Armin is a smart, funny, caring and loving person! His family is very important to him and he loves to have fun with his nieces and nephews! Armin can be silly and funny, but he will take our child’s hopes, fears and dreams seriously! He will be a great dad!

Meet Lilian
My wife Lilian is a Swiss. She is the youngest of three siblings. She grew up in a very close and loving family in Zurich, Switzerland. Family has always been paramount in her life. She was very involved in the life of her niece and three nephews when they were little and is very close to them now as adults.

Lilian is truly an amazing woman and I have been fortunate and blessed beyond all my expectation to have found her. They say the best things in life come to those who are patient. We initially met under less desirable circumstances. I suffered a major brain stroke in the summer of 1997. My wife saw past the disability and saw my determination and spirit. Seeing this unique quality in my wife forged a lifelong foundation of love and trust between us. She is indeed a true helper. My wife is very understanding, nurturing, patient and playful with children. Lilian has always been around children and even it is reflected in her past when she worked in retail, selling high quality children’s clothes and furniture. Lilian will make a great mother and a stay-at-at home mom!

LOVED ONES: FAMILY…
Both our families are very important to us! We both grew up in loving and caring surroundings and we have lots of Happy Memories about our childhood!

My parents have been married for 50 years and Armin’s for 53 years! The two of us are close to all of our siblings and we are very proud of all our 5 nieces and 5 nephews! We all live all over the world but we love to get together!

Our family friends are very excited about the addition of a new baby to the family!

Our home
Our home is a modest condominium with two large bedrooms on the second floor, situated in a quiet neighborhood. We live in a small city called Poway with one of the best public school system in the state. We are close to two major animal parks, beaches, Sea World, LEGOLAND and lots of parks and natural reserves great for hiking along natural trails. San Diego is such a great city and has so much to offer. We also have a cat named Tuxedo.

Our promise to you
Love is our first promise to your child. This we show by providing peaceful and safe environment of affection, education, hugs and kisses, laughter, play, culture, sports, music and arts, snuggling movie nights, fun days at the beach, songs and rhymes to learn, many books to read and stories to tell, playing games, travels, and many nights at home just being together.

Our love is also expressed in providing the discipline needed to develop good moral, manners, virtues, strengths, kindness and generosity in difficulties, and to serve others. Our own parents provided us with these expressions of love and we want to instill this in our child

Your child will grow knowing your love and will honor the sacrifice you have made for her/his future. Love will always be the perspective of your child’s discovery of the world, the past, present and future.

We believe that devotion and unconditional love coupled with education, discipline, and guidance will develop a child into an adult equipped with character, integrity, faith, skills, optimism and joyfulness to deal with life’s challenges.
