Thank you for taking the time to get to know us and for considering us to be your child’s adoptive parents. We admire your strength and courage during this time and realize that deciding who will be the parents of your baby surely must be one of the hardest and most important decisions you will ever make.
While reading our profile our hope is that you will get an idea of our lifestyle, family and love for each other, but most of all how your child will be cherished, nurtured and guided. We feel the most important thing for you to know about us; is that we know about long-term love, nurturing and commitment. We were married as childhood sweethearts and have been loving each other for over 25 years. Our strong, secure and loving relationship will be the rock in your child’s life.
We wish you peace and comfort while you are in this decision process. We know that after reading about us, if we are the right parents for your baby, your heart will lead you in the right direction.
About us
It was childhood love….Dave was 16 years old and Roberta 15 years old. We met at a youth bible study were instantly attracted to each other. We started dating and spending all our spare time together, we were and are today best friends.Four years later we were married and started our amazing life together. We have been happily married for over 25 years! Our life together has been full of excitement, adventure, dreams fulfilled and deep love for each other and our family. Our dream for the rest of our life is to share it with a child. We are very excited to embrace this path to parenthood!
What we do
What we do tells you a lot about who we are. Our lives revolve around kids, horses and animals. We own and run a large Equestrian center in southern California. Our family has taught (and in many cases raised) hundreds of kids to ride and love horses. We also run a therapeutic riding center for kids with special needs. Our center is a community of wonderful animal loving people, many of which are our extended family. Our nieces were raised here; they benefited from the opportunities it gave them to interact with people and animals, it taught them responsibility, compassion and self-confidence and as they will tell you, it was a lot of FUN growing up on the ranch.
Roberta

Roberta is a very caring and fun loving person. She loves to cook, sew, decorate, throw parties and make gifts at Christmas time. Family is a huge part of her life, it’s where decisions are made and inspiration is born. Roberta’s passion for horses began when she was a little girl. While walking to school she would pet and sneak sugar and carrots to the horses in the pasture. When she finally got her first horse at age 10, she dreamed of having her own ranch. I’m happy to have helped her make that dream come true. Since that time Roberta has used her creativity to bless the lives of many children and adults with horses; from horse camps to trail rides, horse shows to riding lessons, to working selflessly over the years supporting and running a Therapeutic-riding center for kids and veterans. Through all her fruitful and busy life the only thing that was missing was being able to have a child of her own. Roberta will make an excellent mom; she’s been practicing for it her whole life!
Dave

Dave is the love of my life. He’s truly one of the good guys! Anyone who knows him will tell you he is one of the most honest, straightforward and hard working men they know. He also knows how to have fun and take care of himself; bike riding, kayaking and woodworking are some of his favorite activities. Dave is always ready to lend a helping hand to family and friends whether it is to help with a construction project or tutor his niece in reading. As a father Dave has so much to offer, he is very compassionate and lives his life in such an honorable way, it’s a role model for any child. Dave’s mom taught 3rd grade at a private school and he’s never forgot how much more he learned while attending there, so an education from an excellent private school is on the top of his list. Dave loves to read. Some of his favorite books are the Hobbit and the Chronicles Narnia , I can see lots of bedtime stories being read in our house!
Family
We both have family in our town (a lot of family). We are blessed to have families that all get along and get together often. Dave’s parents were married for 59 years before his dad passed away. His mother, bother and one of his sisters with his two nephews live fifteen minutes from us. Roberta’s parents have been married for 54 years and live five minutes from us. Roberta’s sister and her husband and two nieces live on our ranch and her bother and sister in law and niece and nephew live twenty minutes away. Roberta’s cousins are also in town. We all get together whenever we can think of any reason at all to! A lot of our family works together and we ALL play together!! Our nieces and nephews are all teenagers or older, and a new baby in our family will be like the first grand baby all over again! The grandmas cannot wait to baby sit!
Our Home
Our home is a warm and cozy four-bedroom house in sunny southern California just minutes from the beach and just 5 minutes from our ranch. Theo our snuggle cat and Daisy our sweet dachshund are in charge when we’re away, oh who are we kidding they’re always in charge!
Our Promise
We promise to provide a stable and nurturing Christian home full of love and patience for your child. Family will always be first, and that family will always be looking for FUN. We are already inquiring into private schools to start your child with the best education possible. We hope we’ve given you glimpses into your child’s future if we are chosen as the adoptive parents. We pray for your peace of mind and guidance in your decision on choosing the adoptive parents for your child.
