We realize that this is possibly the hardest decision you will ever have to make and we admire you for choosing life for your child. We hope as you learn more about us and our family you will find in us everything you are looking for as you make this selfless and courageous decision.
About Us
We are Jennifer and Chris and we have been happily married for seven years. After an early miscarriage and infertility problems, our journey has led us here, to you, and we can’t wait to become parents through the miracle of adoption. We have both dreamed of being a mom and dad and are excited and ready to share our life and love with a child.
We both love the outdoors, spending time in the yard or at the park with our dogs. We also enjoy watching reality TV together and spending time with family and friends on the weekends. We look forward to annual vacations and fun weekend getaways!
About Chris (by Jennifer)
Chris is the kind of person that you feel lucky to call your friend, or in my case, husband. He is truly my best friend, my rock, and the person that still gives me butterflies when he walks in a room. He is a kind and honest person which is probably why he has so many friends.
Chris has a long professional career in law enforcement. His vast knowledge and desire to succeed has helped him move through the ranks in his career in a very short time. He has a very flexible schedule which will allow him to spend lots of time with our child.
Chris enjoys playing golf, hunting, fishing, cycling – you got it, anything outdoors! He also enjoys watching football and basketball and would love to have a child to share these moments with! He is everything a child could want in a dad…smart, loving, understanding, and patient.
About Jennifer (by Chris)
Jennifer is truly an amazing woman. She is the most selfless, caring, and thoughtful person I know. She is my best friend who I can’t wait to share even the smallest of things with. I know that she will be a nurturing and caring mother and any child would be lucky to have her.
Jennifer has been a manager in the hospitality industry for 13 years. She is a self motivator and is very successful in her career. Because of her success, she is able to create a flexible schedule for herself and our family.
Jennifer enjoys working in the yard, scrapbooking, reading, and playing games. She also enjoys spending time outdoors in the park with the dogs or walking nature trails.
Our “Fur”babies
We could not imagine life without our “babies”. Murray is our 14-year-old Cocker Spaniel. He is the most kind-hearted dog that you will ever meet. He might be 14, but he is a puppy at heart. Delilah is our 10-year-old Siamese cat that is just as sweet as sugar. Jennifer rescued her when she was just three weeks old. She never turns down a belly rub and puts herself to sleep by sucking the end of her tail! You would have to see it to believe it! Our “twins” Bailey and Bogey run the show. Bailey is our 7 year old Shih Tzu and Bogey is our 7 year old grey and white cat. Although they are a cat and a dog, they somehow took on personalities of each breed. They play together, sleep together, and wrestle together. They are a sight to see!
Family and Friends
We are both truly blessed to come from such amazing families. They are all so excited and supportive to welcome a new baby to the family! Jennifer’s family lives within 10 miles from our home. Her parents just celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary and are so excited to welcome a grandchild to the family. Jennifer has one sister and they are best friends, she and her husband also live close to us. We just found out that they are pregnant and we will be an aunt and uncle in December! We still gather together for family birthday dinners, cake and ice cream and every Christmas morning our mom makes sure we have a room full of gifts to open. They are more than ready to spoil their grandkids!
Chris has a large family and many live within a few blocks of us. He has one sister and many aunts and uncles that live nearby. His mom and dad are ready to welcome their first grandchild to the family. We have huge get-togethers with his family for holidays, birthdays or summer picnics. We spend many weekends with both of our families and host an annual 4th of July party at our house for our friends and family.
Our entire family is excited because they know how much we have wanted to add a child to our family and are all very supportive of our decision!
Our Home & Community
We live in a family-friendly community in Central Arkansas. We bought our current home in 2008 and absolutely love the neighborhood. Our neighbors are fantastic people and there are many children on our street that enjoy afternoons playing with one another. We look forward to our child playing with the kids in the neighborhood and meeting his/her first best friend.
We live just a few blocks from a great park with a lake and walking trails throughout where we enjoy walking and fishing. There are many great schools in our community and close by that will provide an excellent education for our child.
Closing

We hope after reading our letter you have a better understanding of who we are, what we do and how we live. More importantly, we hope you can see how important family is to us. Our families raised us to be the loving and caring people we are today and we hope that you will give us the opportunity to become parents and pass on the same love, traditions and values to your child.
If you choose us to be your child’s adoptive parents, we promise to always provide a loving and nurturing home to your child, full of love and support from family and friends; we promise you that your child will never fall asleep without knowing how much he/she is loved; and, more importantly, we promise you that your child will always know of the selfless, loving act you made by choosing us to be your child’s adoptive parents.
