Paul and Elle

Dear Birth Mother,
Hello and thank you for taking the time to get to know a little about us and what we have to offer as parents. We are parents of a toddler whom we also adopted. Mason has brought such joy to our lives that we are eager to welcome another child. We are totally committed to loving another child and providing them with a life full of opportunity. We hope to get a chance to meet with you soon!

Our History
We were classmates in school over 10 years ago. It didn’t take us long to realize that we love spending time together. Within a couple years we were married and starting our lives together.

We both have successful careers in the dental field. Paul as a dentist and Elle as a periodontist. We have learned to balance work and play, and are involved in our community and church.

We stared our family life when we adopted Mason. We could not be happier with our decision to adopt and we are a tight-knit, fun-loving, little family. Another child would be welcomed with open arms.

Our Son Mason
Mason also joined our family through adoption. He is a happy, energetic and curious child. When the sun is shining he likes to play in the yard and loves to play ball. He also loves music and dances around the family room to whatever tune happens to be playing. Mason also is very social and loves to play with other children and we are busy teaching him how to share with others. We know that he will welcome a new brother or sister with open arms and make them feel very special.

About Elle (by Paul)
Elle is the most amazing person I know. She is loving, smart, honest, compassionate, and my best friend in life. She is always there to support me, and has a strong faith that keeps her going in all times.

Elle loves to dance and enjoys her favorite reality TV shows. She is great at games and puzzles and loves to play Sudoku. Like me, she is incredibly active and recently completed her first 5 K run!

Elle has always loved to laugh, play, and teach, which makes her a great mom! She helps keep our home and family life on track with a comfortable home and home cooked meals. She has so much love to share with another child!

About Paul (by Elle)
Paul is the smartest, kindest and most patient person I know. He is fun to be around and quick to smile and laugh. He was president of our dental school class, graduated with honors, and still had more energy than anyone. He makes a real difference in our community by doing things like volunteering his dental office to provide free dental care for children in need.

Paul enjoys hiking, camping, fishing with his Dad, snowshoeing, skiing, and going for a run with our dog and son in the stroller. He plays piano for his family at Christmas and is an avid reader.

Where Paul really shines, though, is as a father. He is totally committed to our son and is an equal partner in raising him. They spend time each day horsing around together and Paul ends each day by reading him a story at bedtime.

Paul has been very supportive of all my dreams. He makes me laugh and keeps all our lives from ever being boring.

Family Events
We have nine nieces and nephews, and we enjoy getting together often, with lots of joking and talking to liven things up. Everyone is looking forward to welcoming another child into the family.

One of our favorite family times of the year is Christmas. After our extended family gathers for a big Christmas Eve feast, we pack into the family room and sing traditional carols before opening gifts. On Christmas morning we attend church and give thanks for our many blessings.

Our Town & Home
Our town is small enough so that people know each other, but big enough to have the conveniences of parks, restaurants, and shopping. The neighborhood we live in is safe, with a mix of younger and older families and is close to excellent schools.

Elle is part of a Moms & Kids group that meets each week in our neighborhood and lets the kids play together and the mothers to pass on parenting tips to each other.

Our home has an open living space with lots of light and a great yard for play and gardening. We have a room set aside to become the new nursery and plan on putting a play structure with a slide and swing in the backyard!

Our Dog
We also share our home with our family dog, Sierra. We rescued her through the SPCA over three years ago, and she has a super sweet personality. She gets along real well with Mason and they love to chase each other around the house and play fetch in the yard.

Travel and Recreation
We love to travel and explore, experience other cultures, and visit new places. Our travels have taken us all over this country and the world. On short weekend trips we enjoy camping, hiking, biking, and all sorts of activities. The outdoors is a great place for families to bond and spend time together.
