Meet Jonathan & Terri
We are so excited you are taking time to learn a little bit about us. We are happy that you are considering adoption for your child and appreciate that you are taking such care to ensure your child is raised in a loving environment. Whatever your reasons are, we know that you are to be praised for your courage to have your child, and to ensure they are raised in a loving home.

God has placed a strong longing in our hearts to be parents – we have no doubt this is “meant to be”. It is our desire to provide a loving home to a child from the moment we hold them in our arms. Even today, we are praying for our child – and for you. We are both nurturing, affectionate people who have so much love to give. We hope you’ll take time to get to know us a little better.

You may be wondering why we want to adopt. We met each other at church in our Sunday school class. We quickly developed a friendship that quickly turned into a love of a lifetime. We knew we wanted a family together. Terri’s daughter, Logan was 16 when we met and Jonathan has no children of his own and never experienced raising a child. Terri always wanted another child, and had even thought of adoption before she met Jonathan. After we were married, we immediately began trying to conceive. Five years later, we have decided God has adoption in mind for us.

Jonathan Through Terri’s Eyes:
I was attracted to Jonathan for many reasons. Some of the top reasons are that he has a friendly, outgoing personality. He has a terrific smile and loves to laugh. He never meets a stranger and can walk right up and talk to anyone. He is easy going and just goes with the flow. He hardly ever has a bad day and you never hear a complaint from him. Jonathan works in a field that requires great compassion on a daily basis. He is there for people in their time of loss, helping their family arrange services to remember their loved one that has passed on. I get compliments all the time from people in our community on what a wonderful blessing Jonathan has been to their family at such a difficult time in their lives. Jonathan views his job as a ministry and works diligently to ensure families he serves are cared for.

Jonathan works equally hard at home and he is always busy working on a project around the house. He is a man of integrity and honors our Lord, Jesus. He is a leader for our family and always puts God first, which certainly means he puts our family first too as God would have it that way! He makes me feel special. He doesn’t miss a day where he doesn’t call me from work in the middle of the day just to see how my day is going. He is loving and affectionate. We adore one another. What a blessing!

Terri Through Jonathan’s Eyes:
Terri is a very loving person. She will go out of her way to do good for someone to make them happy. She cares about others around her and she always fills a room with happiness. She observes every situation and thinks things through before she speaks. She is always very positive and complementary and always speaks good of others. Terri works with the Inspector General’s office in the health care division. This department is charged with auditing health care facilities to make sure they are compliant with state and federal regulations. She coordinates projects, working as a liaison between IT (Information Technology) and the training department. She enjoys a flexible work schedule that will make it easy to care for our child. She’s extremely organized and efficient. She is a "doer” and likes to keep herself busy – always doing something. Yet, she still makes time to sit down and spend time talking with me or coming up with fun ideas and adventures for us to do. She always puts God first and is very devoted to devotional time. She has a strong affection for her family and those she cares about.

Meet Logan – Our Daughter – Soon to be Big Sister!
One of the greatest privileges of Terri’s life has been to be a mother to her daughter, Logan. It has been a joy watching Logan progress from an infant into the young woman she is today.

Logan is now older, has graduated from college, and has started her career. She is truly an awesome young lady and we are so proud of her. She’s ready to be a big sister and can’t wait to go shopping for baby things!

Our home is filled with love, laughter, and joy. We enjoy each other’s company. When Logan is home, she brings lots of energy. Benjie, our sweet puppy (actually he’s a 7 year old shih-zhu), always gives everyone a warm welcome as they come in the house. We have a lot of fun together. Our home is an oasis from the world and is warm and cozy. Our home is the central hub for family and friend get-togethers. When Logan was younger, she always friends over visiting. All her friends call Terri “Mama C” and look forward to indulging in sweet treats while visiting.

We live in a brick home, with a walk out basement. Our back yard is filled with trees and backs up to a small horse farm. There are 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a finished basement. We have a nice yard for a child to run and play.
We live in a great neighborhood. Our neighbors are so friendly and there are lots of other children (and children on the way) all around us. We know many people and often catch each other out and chat awhile. There are walking and bike trails from our house that connects to a beautiful park and to local elementary schools. The park has swimming pools (indoors and out), ball parks, tennis courts, etc. Terri’s parents live one mile up the road (next to the park) and we often walk over to their house. Our home town is in between two major cities so we get to enjoy a small-town feel while having the conveniences of big city charm. The city has the arts, theaters, the zoo, museums, etc.
