What you are doing is such a selfless act, and I am in awe of it. Please know that my thank you is heartfelt and sincere. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming a mother. I vividly remember wanting every baby doll in the toy store and carrying them everywhere. As I grew older, I loved spending time with my friends’ younger siblings, then began babysitting and working as a nanny. Although I’ve been pregnant a few times, I never reached full term, yet I have always known adoption was meant to be part of my story. Those challenges only confirmed that this is the path I’m meant to take. I’m incredibly excited to be on this journey and can’t wait to meet my child.

I grew up as the only girl in a family with two brothers, one older and one younger. My childhood was filled with adventures across Wisconsin and Minnesota, and I treasure those memories. I look forward to sharing similar experiences with my future child. I now work in our family’s business in Human Resources. While this wasn’t the path I initially imagined, I’ve discovered that I genuinely enjoy it. Becoming a mother has always been my dream—my calling. I eagerly await the everyday moments: cuddles, picking out tiny outfits, and even the sleepless nights. I’m ready to embrace all the joys and challenges that motherhood brings.

I enjoy hiking with my dogs on the local trails and cozying up with my cat and a good cup of coffee. Cooking and baking are passions of mine, and I love taking two to four trips a year, including an annual family vacation. Family is important to me—we have Sunday dinners, work together, and I spend lots of time with my mom and sisters-in-law. In my spare time, I run an animal rescue group that provides grants and is currently in its startup phase. Teaching kids about animal safety and kindness is something I value deeply.

I lead a peaceful life filled with moments of adventure, reading, and cooking. My home’s overflowing bookshelves bring me joy, and when I’m not traveling, I love baking, cooking, and spending time with friends and family. My brother recently became engaged, so we’re diving into wedding planning—I love organizing events and bringing a bit of nostalgic 90s fun to every celebration. I collect memorabilia from Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Jurassic Park, and Supernatural, and one of my greatest joys is spending time with my nieces and nephews. I often fly to Florida to visit my two goddaughters. I can’t wait to take my child on trips, watching their face light up as we step off the ship into warm Caribbean sand. I’ve already started curating a baby library with board books, soft cloth books, and cozy decor, and I can’t wait to read with them curled in my lap.

I live in the charming small town of Burrillville, Rhode Island, think Stars Hollow from Gilmore Girls! Our community hosts vibrant festivals and family events, from Easter egg hunts to the annual art festival filled with food, crafts, and friendly faces. I can’t wait to attend next year, hopefully pushing a stroller or wearing my baby while taking it all in.

My home is cozy and welcoming, with three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a backyard perfect for gatherings around the fire pit. The nursery is painted a soft shade called “Fresh Honeydew Melon,” creating a warm, joyful space. I love curling up by the fire with a book as the snow falls outside. Rhode Island offers all four seasons—30 minutes to the ocean, a short drive to the mountains, and an above-average school district that makes it a wonderful place to raise a child.

I share my home with three wonderful animals.

Sirius: A large black cat who’s been with me since birth and is the ultimate mama’s boy.

Dobby: A four-year-old English Springer Spaniel with wild fur and a tongue that’s always sticking out.

Mildred: The newest addition and my little tripod. She’s sweet-natured and loves attention.

My family may be unconventional, but we share deep love and care for one another. My father, who recently passed away, was a one-of-a-kind man with a big heart and a witty remark for every occasion. I often think about how wonderful he would have been as a grandfather. My mom—my best friend—has shown incredible strength since his passing. She’s funny, loving, and pours her heart into everyone around her. I have two brothers, Seth and Jake. Seth is married to Jessica, a kindhearted ER nurse from the Philippines, and Jake is engaged to Chrissy, who recently joined our family business. Her son has become my little buddy and keeps asking when I’ll adopt a baby because he wants a cousin.

My friends are like family, and my future child will be surrounded by people eager to love and support them. One friend I’ve known since childhood was the first person I told about my adoption plans and she can’t wait to be “Auntie!” My coworkers and family friends are all cheering me on. This child will grow up in a warm, encouraging community.

I have cherished traditions to pass on, like being surprised with a Vermont Teddy Bear at midnight and sharing family dinners in pajamas with hot cocoa, Christmas lights, and laughter. I also hope to create new traditions, like annual trips to the White Mountains, celebrating birthdays at 12:01am, carving pumpkins, and attending local fairs.
I strongly believe in education and understand that everyone learns differently. I’ll support my child’s unique learning style and help prepare them for a bright future. Open adoption is important to me, though I’ll honor whatever level of openness feels right for you. Above all, I promise your child will be surrounded by love, encouragement, and opportunity—given every chance to become the best version of themselves.
