We’ve always dreamed of growing our family and after giving our all to IVF, we felt the Lord leading us to adopt. We have several extended family members who are adopted and their unique adoption stories and personalities have added diversity and strength to our family. We have so much love to give and the idea of welcoming another little one into our home fills our hearts with joy and we’re grateful for the chance to share that with you.

We met in a very 21st-century way. Both of us were tired of the dating scene and ready to settle down, so we created online profiles, let the algorithm do its thing, and prayed. Our modern romance led to a coffee date, countless laughs, and eventually the life we’ve built together.

We share many of the same values and interests. We try not to sweat the small stuff and are deeply devoted to our family and friends. We love spending time outdoors, being active, and hanging out with our amazing son and our hilarious little Italian Greyhound, Pesto. But we also enjoy slower moments—sleeping in when we can, relaxing, and watching a movie together.

I would describe myself as an extroverted introvert—curious, driven, resilient, practical, family-focused, compassionate, and creative. I enjoy swimming, practicing yoga, going to the beach, thrifting, volunteering at church, playing with our son, and spending time with kind-hearted people.

I grew up valuing the importance of early childhood development because my mom was a teacher. I started babysitting as soon as I was old enough and later worked at a preschool. Those experiences led me to a career assisting children with special needs through behavior therapy and speech therapy. I decided to go back to school for dental hygiene so I could be a part-time stay-at-home mom and focus on growing our family. I absolutely love being a mom.

Gina’s dedication to motherhood is one of the most meaningful parts of who she is. She approaches parenting with thoughtfulness and intention, always looking for ways to nurture and support our son. She works hard to create a home filled with love, safety, and encouragement—a place where our child can grow, learn, and feel deeply supported.

Gina is deeply committed to a healthy and mindful lifestyle, often finding peace and balance through yoga and reflection. This mindfulness also shapes her care for the environment. She enjoys living thoughtfully and sustainably, and she leads by example in showing our son how to respect and care for the world around us.

Gina’s faith in Jesus is a central part of her life and the foundation for the way she lives each day. It shapes her patience as a mother, her kindness as a friend, and the integrity she brings to everything she does.

I grew up as one of three siblings and still have a very close relationship with them today. Because of that, I truly value the bond between siblings and the support they bring to one another. We would welcome another child into our home with so much love and look forward to nurturing a similar lifelong connection between our children. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with our son, running, cooking, and finding new ways to challenge myself. I recently picked up the tuba again after taking a long hiatus, and it’s been a fun and educational adventure for both me and my son. I also love spending time with our dog, Pesto—taking him to dog parks and the dog beach where he happily runs around chasing after our whole family.

I’m a project manager at a construction company. In my day-to-day role, I focus on managing large orders through all phases of construction and working closely with the customer to make sure their needs are met and they feel well supported.

Kevin is humble, smart, has a huge heart and is a big goofball. While he can be a little shy at first, he genuinely loves people and enjoys helping others. He often puts others’ needs before his own and absolutely loves being both a dad and an uncle.
He’s great at math and has an impressive memory. He often remembers more about my family and friends than I do! He’s a little nerdy in the best way and absolutely shines at trivia—especially sports trivia.

Kevin is logical, a fast learner, unassuming, easy to talk to, and even-keeled. He works hard, enjoys staying active, and looks forward to the day he can play basketball and golf with our son as he gets older.

We love spending time together as a family and enjoy activities like going to the beach, visiting the zoo, swimming, hiking, playing at parks and trampoline parks, going to Disneyland, taking cruises, and exploring museums. At home, we enjoy cooking, exercising, laughing, singing, and being silly together.

When our son is a little older, we’re excited to take him to Legoland, the Aquarium, Knott’s Camp Snoopy, and the mountains to see the snow.

Shepherd is a thoughtful and gentle little guy. He’s very tall for his age—he looks like he’s about five years old, but he’s actually just three! He’s talkative, creative, and friendly. He loves spending time with his cousins and is excited about the idea of becoming a big brother!

We live about 15 minutes from the beach and Disneyland, and Knott’s Berry Farm is just 10 minutes down the street. We love having so many fun places nearby to explore together as a family. At home, we spend a lot of time in our downstairs playroom. It’s a favorite spot where we play games, listen to music, build with Magnatiles, and watch movies, TV shows, and fun YouTube videos together.

Pesto is our tiny 4-year-old fur baby. Fun Facts: His favorite activities include going to the dog park, visiting the dog beach, and snuggling with the family. He’s an Italian Greyhound, and his full name is Pesto Poochini.

Kevin’s extended family is huge! His dad has nine siblings, and they are a close-knit group who are kind, fun, hardworking, and very family-focused. Adoption has also been a meaningful part of their family story, as eight members of the extended family were adopted.

Gina’s family is smaller in comparison. Her grandmother was adopted and was only able to have one child. She was named Esther after the courageous woman in the Old Testament. Gina’s mom also has two sisters, but only one of them had children, so Gina has three cousins.

We are grateful for the loving and supportive community of family that surrounds us.

Being parents is the greatest adventure of our lives, and we take that role to heart! We’re constantly praying, seeking wisdom, and learning as we grow alongside our children. We’ve chosen to focus on gentle, respectful guidance in our home. Our goal is to raise children who are independent, loving, and confident. We value open communication and helping our children understand the natural consequences of their choices so they can learn and grow. We hope to equip them with the emotional tools they need to navigate a complicated world and to grow into kind, thoughtful members of their community.
