Hello! We are Ashley and Brandon from sunny California. We have been married for 14 years and share a strong, loving, and faith-centered relationship. Family is incredibly important to us, and we have always dreamed of becoming parents. While our path to parenthood has come with challenges, it has strengthened our bond and deepened our desire to grow our family, leading us to adoption with hope and gratitude. Becoming parents has always been a dream close to our hearts. After walking through challenges with infertility, we felt led to continue growing our family through adoption. While the journey has not looked exactly how we once imagined, it has strengthened our faith, our marriage, and our excitement to become parents. We truly believe adoption is part of our story, and we feel incredibly grateful and hopeful to be on this path.

Our love story is really quite sweet. We have known each other since middle school, although we didn’t begin dating until years later after Ashley moved back from Arizona. We dated for about a year and a half before Brandon proposed during a beach vacation with his family. Knowing how much Ashley loved watching The Bachelorette, he planned the sweetest surprise at a natural hot spring. His mom and younger brother decorated the space with rose petals and tea light candles. When Ashley walked into the beautifully decorated spa area and turned around, Brandon was down on one knee holding a single rose and asked, “Will you accept my final rose and marry me?” It was perfect! From the beginning, we have shared the same values, interests, work ethic, love for family and friends, faith, humor, and the kind of life we wanted to build together.

We love spending time outdoors, whether that’s playing pickleball, golfing, exploring in our travel trailer, or even doing yard work together. Sports have always been a big part of our lives, and we enjoy both playing and attending live sporting events. One item on our bucket list is visiting every MLB stadium together someday.

We enjoy weekend getaways to the Central Coast beaches, the mountains, or a new golf course to explore. While we love adventure and travel, we also enjoy relaxing at home playing games, watching movies, cooking healthy meals, and hosting gatherings with family and friends. For years, we hosted an annual “Friendsmas” party complete with silly holiday costumes.

Faith, family, laughter, and quality time together are at the center of our lives. Ashley especially loves taking photos and documenting meaningful memories. We are so excited to bring a child along on our adventures, create traditions together, and build a childhood full of love, joy, and experiences they can someday pass on to their own family.

Ashley is energetic, fun-loving, and always ready for a card game or outdoor adventure. She loves exercising, staying active through sports, and even baking homemade sourdough bread. As an extrovert, Ashley thrives being around family and friends and loves hosting or attending get-togethers. A perfect Saturday for her includes grabbing coffee to-go and heading out to explore somewhere new.

Ashley has always had a natural connection with children, which led her to become a teacher. She loves watching her students gain confidence, master new skills, and experience those exciting “ah-ha” moments. She hopes she will be remembered by students as loving, patient, and fun. Ashley also coaches volleyball at the same high school she played and attended. Becoming a mom would be Ashley’s greatest blessing and most cherished role in life. She is excited to help her child learn, grow, and experience the world with confidence and curiosity. Ashley hopes to be the kind of mom her child runs to for cuddles, encouragement, advice, and unconditional love.

Adoption is a meaningful part of my story. When I was a year old, my dad, Jerry, stepped into my life and lovingly raised me as his daughter. While it wasn’t a legal adoption, he has always been my dad in every sense of the word. At age 39, I was honored to add his name to my birth certificate, making official what my heart had always known. His choice to love and raise me taught me that family is built on love, commitment, and connection. We share an incredible bond and I’m forever grateful for my adoption story.

Ashley is one of the most kindhearted, hardworking, and loving people I know. She always gives her full heart to the people she loves. I saw this firsthand in the compassionate way she cared for her grandmother near the end of her life, always showing patience, tenderness, and selfless love. Children are naturally drawn to Ashley because of her gentle spirit and ability to truly connect with them. She shares a very close bond with our nieces and nephews and loves spending time with them, supporting them at their activities, and being someone they can always count on. Ashley is also a devoted teacher who I know will genuinely care about helping our children learn, grow, and feel confident. She creates a warm and welcoming home, and I can easily picture her waking up early to make breakfast, pack lunches, and care for everyone else before starting her own day. I know our child will grow up feeling deeply loved, supported, and treasured by her every day.

Brandon is intelligent, hardworking, and playful, with a laid-back personality that makes people feel comfortable around him. He enjoys golfing, fishing, playing tennis, pickleball, volleyball, grilling for family get-togethers, and spending quality time with the people he loves most. Brandon has built a successful career working for an agriculture consulting company, where he supports local farmers and dairymen in our community.

A perfect Saturday for him includes an early morning on the golf course followed by barbecuing and relaxing with family and friends. Brandon is still very much a kid at heart and naturally connects with children. Whether he is playing games, being silly, or running around outside with our nieces, nephews, and friends’ children, kids are always drawn to his fun and easygoing nature. Becoming a dad has been one of Brandon’s greatest dreams, and he looks forward to coaching his children in sports, teaching them new skills, and being a steady source of love and encouragement every step of the way.

Brandon has so many wonderful qualities that will make him an incredible father. He is funny, hardworking, intelligent, and keeps me laughing every single day. He manages our finances wisely, which allows us to enjoy life together and make special memories through traveling and experiences. Brandon is also incredibly generous and has a soft spot for people who may be struggling or in need. One of the things I admire most about Brandon is how deeply he cares for the people he loves. Watching him support his mom through cancer treatment and walk beside me through infertility treatments and losses has shown me just how tender, patient, and caring he truly is. Brandon has always been the “fun uncle” with our nieces and nephews. He never shies away from a good time and naturally connects with kids through play and laughter. I know he will be the kind of dad who comes home tired from work but still heads outside to throw a ball around or dance in the kitchen with his child. I cannot wait to watch him be a dad!

We bought our home 15 years ago with dreams of one day filling it with children. It is a cozy four-bedroom, three-bathroom home with the sweetest Jack and Jill bathroom connecting two of the bedrooms — something we always imagined would be perfect for a growing family. Over the years, we have worked hard creating a welcoming backyard where we love gathering around the BBQ, relaxing by the fire pit, and spending time outdoors together. Our town has grown over the years but still holds onto its small-town feel. We often run into familiar faces while out running errands, which gives our community such a warm and connected atmosphere.

There are many programs and activities for children, along with beautiful parks, sports courts, playgrounds, and even a small fishing lake for kids to enjoy. We look forward to spending lots of time outdoors with our child, staying active, making memories, and supporting their interests. Education is also very important to us, and with Ashley working within the local school district, we feel very connected to our community and excited to provide a loving, supportive environment for our child to thrive both academically and socially.

Our family includes two lovable pups who keep us laughing every day. Rebel is our 11-year-old Chiweenie-Pom (Dachshund, Chihuahua, and Pomeranian mix) who has never met a lap he didn’t love. He’s a champion cuddler and enjoys daily walks around the neighborhood. Ryder is our “Terri-Pom” (Terrier-Pomeranian mix) with a playful spirit and endless energy. She’s happiest when chasing a ball and would gladly play fetch all day if we’d let her. They bring so much joy, love, and personality to our home.

Brandon comes from a large, close-knit family that includes his parents, three siblings, their spouses, and seven nieces and nephews. Ashley’s family includes her mom, dad, stepmom, four siblings, a sister-in-law, and six nieces and nephews. Family has always been one of the most important parts of our lives, and we spend a lot of time together making memories. Whether it’s family vacations, birthdays, holidays, backyard barbecues, themed parties, game nights, or simply gathering around good food, there is always laughter, love, and togetherness. We are also very close with extended family, including cousins and lifelong family friends who have become like family over the years.

Through church, sports, and our community, we have built a strong village of supportive and caring friendships as well. One of the greatest blessings in our lives is knowing that we are surrounded by people who are genuinely excited to welcome a child into our family. Our parents are eager to help care for and love a little one, and our siblings often remind us how excited they are for their turn to spoil our future child the same way we have loved on theirs.

More than anything, we look forward to sharing our lives, our love, and our faith with a child. We dream of everyday moments just as much as the big milestones—reading bedtime stories, cheering from the sidelines, helping with homework, celebrating birthdays, and creating family traditions together. After many years of hoping and praying to become parents, we don’t take this opportunity for granted. We look forward to providing a home filled with love, laughter, encouragement, and unwavering support as a child grows into the person God created them to be.
