For us, parenthood is showing up every day with love, patience and presence. We will give this child every opportunity to succeed and be happy in life including a college education, a healthy and active lifestyle, and a stable and supportive community to grow up in.

We have shared a desire to grow our family since we met. Adoption has always been our first choice to build our family. We believe family is created through love, everyday moments, and shared experiences-not just biology. In our home, "family" means consistently showing up for each other, choosing kindness, and doing our best for one another. That is the kind of family and future we hope to offer your child.

We first met at a video game conference in California - Allen was a booth babe, and Munia was there to market the game she led. A quick lunch at her favorite Indian spot turned into long-distance flights between Australia (where Allen lived) and America. Over coffee in Australia, Munia asked Allen to move to America; six months later, he did, and we've been a team ever since!
We were married in a small backyard ceremony, officiated by Allen's mom, with our dog Toby as the ring bearer. It was simple, joyful, and exactly what we wanted. Today, our life is full of weekend swims at the local springs, cooking big meals at home, staying active, and traveling to see friends and family around the world. We're both huge true crime and mystery fans and even built a true crime video game together where players solve cases on their phones. We're truly best friends and partners, and we're excited to share our loving, fun, and stable home with a child.

I’m a proud second-generation Longhorn (Hook ’em!) and spent my childhood between Oklahoma & Texas. I’m a former competitive dancer trained in Indian Classical (Bharatnatyam) and Bollywood styles. After graduating with a JD from law school (a longtime goal), I started making video games! I even got to work with Kim K. and the Harry Potter team. I’ve visited all 7 continents! My highlights include riding camels in the Sahara and meeting penguins in Antarctica. I can’t wait to share the world with a child—from eating gelato in Italy to surfing in Costa Rica.

Every day, I am proud to be Munia's husband. She inspires me to be a better person through her courage, determination and loyalty. Munia is always willing to work hard to achieve her goals despite any roadblocks that get in the way. She has the self-confidence and courage to challenge authority and fight for what she deserves, whether that is starting her own company or fighting for flight upgrades for those she loves. These qualities will make her an incredible mother to any child. She will nurture, guide and encourage any child as well as protecting and fighting for them when they need it.

My life is a mix of high-tech and high-adventure, but at my core, I'm a lifelong student. Whether I'm leading an engineering team in the world of Al or navigating the trails of the Rockies, I'm always looking to learn. Living in Banff during my early adulthood shaped my love for the outdoors, and today I channel that energy into staying fit on the volleyball court or in the gym. When the gear is packed away, I'm usually found with a book in my hand or in the woodshop, where I'm (humbly) learning the craft of building things by hand. I love the thrill of a new idea as much as the peace of a great story. I can't wait to pass on this balance to our future child- spending our Saturdays exploring the wonders of nature and our evenings tucked away with a favorite book, discovering new worlds together.

Allen's quiet confidence, self-awareness and reliability make him the foundation for our family. I admire his calm and kind energy, a characteristic that makes anyone who talks to him feel instantly closer to him. He brings a sense of safety and security to my soul that allows me to live with so much honesty. When Allen moved in, he immediately prioritized making our pup Toby feel safe and loved and their bond melts my heart every day. His daily gratitude inspires me to be a little better than I was the day before. Allen is the kind of husband who shows up for me, my family and our friends every single time and I know that dedication to his loved ones will make our future child feel like they have a strong support behind them.

Family and community are central values and a huge priority in our lives. We are lucky to have Munia's parents, brother, sister-in-law, and niece living nearby, allowing us to celebrate everything from birthdays to Thanksgiving together. While Allen's family is farther away, we stay closely connected through regular calls and annual visits.
Meet Toby (short for Toblerone)- our beloved family pup. Part cocker spaniel, all sass, she is a lover of soft laundry and the sweetest part of our day. Munia rescued her during the pandemic when she was 4 years old and now all the kids on the block ring our doorbell to share their treats and give Toby all their snuggles.

In the summer of 2020, Toby came into Munia's life as a shaking, skeptical pup from the Cocker Spaniel Rescue. Munia was living alone and working long hours from home as the world started to shut down from the pandemic. She was the bright light that Munia sorely needed. Munia picked her up from her foster family and they immediately set out for our first adventure to the park. Through months of trust-building and emotional therapy, Toby is now the confident, spunky center of attention and love in the family. When Allen moved to Texas, she welcomed him to the family and we know she will do the same when we grow again.

We embrace traditions with enthusiasm and a sense of humor. Our holidays are anchored by our annual family 'pajama party' photo at Munia's parents' house, where everyone-including the dog-coordinates in matching sets! We spend the season decking the halls, cooking meals together (including Allen's traditional Christmas mussels), and enjoying Munia's impromptu singing performances. But our family spirit lasts year-round; we love getting playful with the kids, whether we're dressing up in group costumes for Halloween or cheering on the Longhorns in our burnt orange gear.

We take great pride in making our home a welcoming community hub. Our backyard is designed for connection, featuring a cowboy pool where we love to relax and host loved ones. Whether we are having a quiet evening or a lively get-together, Toby is always part of the action, running loops around the yard and greeting our guests. We look forward to sharing this space and making new memories with a child.

While we are deeply connected to our relatives, community is a central value in our lives. Over the years, we have built a beautiful, diverse, and tight-knit "chosen family" of friends. From hosting big holiday potlucks to casual weekend game nights, our home is a revolving door of laughter, support, and great food. We can't wait for your child to grow up with so many amazing "aunts" and "uncles" to cheer them on, teach them new things, and shower them with love.
