We are so excited to grow our family through adoption. We have the utmost respect for you and we want to assure you that your child will always know you as a selfless superhero. Please know that we are fully committed to and without a shadow of a doubt will unconditionally love your child forever. We hope you will learn more about our family and that we can be a part of your journey.
Dear Birth Mother
Hello from Sonoma County! We are loving, fun, and a little bit nerdy! We have been happily married for 12 joyful years. We met in 2005 in San Francisco and have been best friends ever since. Brian followed his heart from Denver to “the City” and we began our journey together.. After dating for a year and a half, Brian proposed on Allie’s favorite beach in Lake Tahoe and she said “Yes!” A year later we celebrated our wedding vows with our family and friends.
In 2012, we were blessed to welcome our first child Hannah. After a rough beginning, we are blessed to share the joy of a daughter. She brings life and laughter into our home and each day builds on the joy of the last. We enjoy spending summers at the family cabin at the lake, trying new cuisines in the city, going to musicals, cheering on the SF Giants and Niners, being with family and friends, and sitting down to dinner together each evening. We have both had a heart for adoption since we have known each other and are excited for our family to grow even more.
5 Things We Will Teach Your Child
- Unconditional love
- Importance of education
- Value of friendship
- Be true to yourself
About Allison, By Allison
I grew up in a small town in Northern California in a house that was bursting with love. My parents always showed unconditional love and stressed the importance of faith, family, and gratitude.
Education has always been an important part of my life. I have been an elementary school teacher for 14 years and not a day goes by where I don’t learn something from my students. My favorite part of teaching is working with students with challenges. They are the bright lights that I show up for every day and they teach me so much more than they know.
I love spending my days outdoors, swimming, biking, and playing with Hannah. Seeing her grow and thrive is such a blessing. Our family enjoys spending time together and especially enjoys cooking, baking, and having BBQs. Making people laugh is what makes me happy and I try not to take myself too seriously.
About Allison, By Brian
Allison embodies the word “love!” She is the most patient, honest and giving person I have ever met. Watching her bring joy to our daughter makes me step up my “Dad Game” every day! She is incredibly strong and always puts others before herself.
As a teacher, she is able to translate her joy into learning and encourages her kids to be the best that they can be. I am so lucky and blessed to be married to my best friend and such a wonderful, loving and strong woman!

About Brian, By Brian
I was an only child and my parents stressed the importance of having a good education and a really strong work ethic. As a kid, I loved being a cub and boy scout and learned many life lessons that I continue to appreciate to this day.
After learning the benefits of being able to help others with their computer problems, I’ve worked my way up in the IT world to being a senior network engineer. Even though I don’t get to help one-on-one as much as I’d like to anymore, now I get to help more people at once by ensuring that all of the computers in our company are talking to each other. One of the awesome benefits of working in IT is that I can usually work from home and help out with Hannah if our usual routine changes.
I love spending time with Hannah. Seeing her brings me so much joy and helps me to remember what it is like to be a kid again! I love reading books and playing games with her. Even though I can’t compete, I love being part of her passion for dancing, including having family dance parties in our living room. I love being a father to Hannah and will always bring the same amount of love, care and affection to the table for your child as well.
About Brian, By Allison
Brian would give you the shirt off his back and the shoes off his feet. He is a “diamond in the rough” whom I am blessed to share life with. He is the most selfless person I know. He is strong in his faith and demonstrates kindness to all. Brian is a hard worker, a dedicated father and husband and a very involved dad.

Meet Hannah – The Big Sister to Be
Hannah is a gift and a joy. She is a strong, spirited, smart, and super imaginative nine year old girl. Playing with her cousins and dog, eating pasta with meatballs, and swimming in the lake is her idea of the perfect day. She is the number one snuggler and is so excited to be a big sister.
From Hannah: Hi. I’m Hannah. I love to dance! I love to play soccer, paint, and go shopping. I really like pasta and cucumbers but not together. That would be gross! I like playing with my dog Freddy. I’m excited to have a baby brother or sister because I have been waiting a long time. I can’t wait to play with them and teach them to dance.
Our Home is A Happy Place
We live in Sonoma County, in Northern California. In our small city there is a lot to do and a lot of different people. It is the place we always want to return to and the place we miss when we are away on the tail end of a vacation. We have a 4-bedroom, 2.5 bath open home with a front and back yard. Our neighborhood is filled with children and there are many bike paths, grassy fields, parks, and playgrounds to enjoy. We enjoy sharing our home with our family and friends and hosting gatherings and BBQs.
We really love that our city has the perfect balance of suburban and rural areas. You can’t go far without seeing cows and sheep grazing in the fields in one area, and a hopping downtown in another. We are blessed to have some of the best schools in the county and a city that offers a lot to kids and grown ups alike. We are just a couple hours away from everything!
Family and Friends
: We love our family and friends and are very fortunate to have their love and support! We live close to Allison’s parents, sister, cousins, aunts and uncle, and spend a lot of time with them celebrating birthdays, holidays, and anything in-between. We have established a diverse group of close friends who have introduced us to new and exciting adventures, hobbies, and cuisine! We also make each other laugh, even when the jokes aren’t funny :)

Freddy and Marla
We are so grateful to have Freddy and Marla as members of our family. Both of our pups were adopted from a local rescue organization after being found on the streets and have won our hearts forever. They are the “King” and “Queen” of our house (and they know it too)! They often act like an old married couple and are very affectionate. So gentle and loving with even the youngest members of our family, they are looking forward to being “big brother” and “big sister.” Even though they are small they have hearts the size of California and play and pretend they can run with the big dogs.
One Last Thank You
Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our family. We know the choices you are facing are incredibly challenging. We respect you and can assure you that your child will always know unconditional love. We hope we can join you on this journey.
