We are Brian & Angelica from San Francisco. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We are humbled by your courage and strength in taking this difficult step to choose adoption for your baby.
Family is such an important part of our lives, and we have dreamt of becoming parents since we met. Although we are unable to conceive naturally, we truly believe that everything happens for a reason. This gift of adoption is a true blessing, and we promise to always provide a loving, stable home with lots of family and friends to surround your child as they grow up.
It was during one Halloween weekend in 2017, and we were both out with friends at a local bar in San Francisco where we locked eyes on the dance floor. Next thing you know, we found ourselves staying up all night at IHOP talking and eating pancakes.
We truly believe fate brought us together. We were at the right place at the right time in both our lives. We immediately connected through our passion for sports and sushi, but most of all, through our mutual love for our families, friends, and dogs. After a year of dating, we were engaged at one of the most beautiful spots in San Francisco, the Palace of Fine Arts, which not counting IHOP, is also where we had our first official date. The following year we married at St. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church in front of all our family and friends, and we will always cherish that day. As we embark on our adoption journey, we look forward to becoming parents and cherishing every moment with our future child.
I grew up in a small town east of San Francisco with my wonderful parents and sister. I am proud of my Mexican heritage and family mean so much to me. I wouldn’t be who I am today without them.
I love sports, especially football and playing fantasy football for the past 10 years. Traveling the world is another passion. I have been to over 35 countries across 4 continents. I hope to continue to explore the world with Brian and our future child.
I am a Planning Manager for a large retail chain and plan to continue to work full-time. I am very fortunate to have a flexible work schedule and can also work from home to be with our future child through their first years.
Angelica is the most loyal and kindhearted person I have ever met. Her smile lights up the room and her laugh is contagious. She is a great planner and I love coming home to the smell of her delicious cooking. I love her passion for sports and we have so much fun cheering on our favorite teams! Angelica will be the perfect mother to our future child with all the love and protection she will give.
I grew up in a small suburb north of San Francisco. I am very family oriented and proud of my Italian heritage. I am very passionate about all sports, and I am looking forward to coaching our future child and being their number one fan!
I am a member of a bowling league and the President of a club that raises money for children with cleft palates. I want to further my involvement in community activities and support our future child’s interest, no matter what they might be.
I am an Assistant Store Manager at a large drug-store chain, but have lots of flexibility in my schedule so that I can be a present parent for our future child.
Brian is the most loyal, funny, and amazing husband on the planet! He is incredibly friendly and can spark up a conversation with anyone. He is a very thoughtful and positive person. I am a bit of a worrier, and he has this ability to always calm me and tell me everything will be ok. He has supported me in so many ways and I know he will be a wonderful father to our future child.

Family means the world to us, and our families have so much in common. Both sets of our parents grew up in San Francisco and have been married for over thirty five years; our grandparents immigrated to the US to have a better quality of life; and all are devout Catholics. Our families place a high importance on education and we know we were both lucky to attend private school. They have shown us love, strength, and are very supportive of our plans to adopt. They cannot wait to be grandparents!
We both have an older sibling. Brian’s brother Michael lives locally and all they do is talk sports or watch WWE. Angelica’s sister Veronica lives outside of Washington DC with her husband Reid, and two children, Vivienne and Jack. We see them twice a year and Facetime as much as possible. Vivienne sends us her artwork from preschool, which we display on our refrigerator.
We have a great group of friends, both near and far. They are all very supportive and we cannot wait to share their love and friendship with our future child.
We live in the Marina district of San Francisco, a beautiful and family friendly neighborhood with proximity to the bay and beach. We can walk anywhere and there are a variety of shops, restaurants, running/walking trails, parks, and large grassy areas to picnic with friends.
Our home is a cozy upper flat of a two-story building that is owned by Brian’s family. It is spacious and recently renovated. We have a beautiful backyard where we love to entertain friends and family, sit around the fire pit, and compete in Cornhole.
We intend to stay here for the first several years of parenthood and plan to buy a home outside of the city before they begin school.
Lilly, also known as “Silly Lilly”, is our 8-year-old Boxer, who Brian named after Lillian Potter from Harry Potter, his favorite books of all time.
Lilly is an indoor dog, loves her pillows, and is an absolute cuddle bug. She has a tiny dog personality and just loves to sit on you and lick your face. She waits in her corner in the living room, staring out the window when we are gone and will jump onto you with complete excitement when walking through the door. It’s the highlight of our days when we get to be with her. We know she can’t wait for a new baby to arrive!
Thank you for taking the time to consider us in your adoption journey. We know that choosing adoption for your child is not an easy decision, and although words cannot adequately express how grateful we are for you, please know that your gift will make our dreams of becoming a family a reality.
