Hello! We are Danielle and Eliot (and our cats George & Cosmo), from Los Angeles. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us. We know that considering an adoption plan comes from a place of deep love and strength. If you choose us, we promise to continue what you started, so your child will always know they are safe, supported, and cherished.

We feel so lucky to have found each other, and as partners, we've built a strong and loving foundation. Having both come from close knit families, we have wanted to grow our own family for some time. When we tried biologically, life had other plans —and we're so excited it did, because this path brought us to you! It would be an honor to have the opportunity to raise your child.

14 years ago, we were set up by a mutual friend who thought we’d be a great match. Turns out, they were right! Our partnership is built on a strong foundation of love, respect, and all things Halloween. We both love to travel, and get out there and participate. Last year we rode in a bicycle marathon at Crater Lake. It was quite a challenge, but we finished it together as a team!

Pursuing my interests in life is something I’m most proud of. This has helped me discover who I am. As a parent, I will support your child in whatever path they choose to take, and encourage them to live their passions.

I work in private practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist. The majority of my work is focused on helping people strengthen the important relationships in their lives. This is especially meaningful to me as I understand the power and necessity of true connection and community. As the saying goes, “no man is an island”.

She is my best friend. One of the things that I love about her is how much fun we get to have together. She is always cracking me up with her unique and straight-up goofy sense of humor. I found a partner for life who is my constant creative collaborator, a rock of support, and I always know I am safe with her.

That’s why I know she’ll be a wonderful mother - on top of being responsible, down to earth, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges thanks to her job - her happy place is being playful, having fun, and making each other laugh. I can’t imagine my life without her.

On the best days, life feels full of possibilities and the opportunity to learn, no matter how old you are. I love savoring the tiny things in life - waking up early with the birds, going for a walk in nature, or making food for the people you love.

I work at a movie studio. It’s a fun and challenging job, but I get to watch TV for a living, and better still, it offers helpful parenting resources to support new families.

There are many things that I love about Eliot, but the first thing that comes to mind is his generosity. Eliot is incredibly generous with his attention, time and love. Eliot is also one of the funniest people I have ever met, like, deep-belly-laughs-until-you-hurt-or-cry kinda fun!

He is dependable. Throughout all of life’s ups and downs, I have seen Eliot rise to every occasion- he shows up consistently for the people he loves, and always has their backs. In short, Eliot is simply one of the loveliest human beings you could meet. Any kid would be lucky to have a father figure like Eliot in their life.

We feel really lucky to live in a place where we can go from snowy mountains to the beach in the same day.

We live in Los Angeles, in a very family-friendly neighborhood. We have a great elementary school two blocks from our home. We are close to a river bike path and a big city park.

Our neighborhood really pops off during Halloween! With loads of kids trick-or-treating, houses festively decorated, and neighborhood block parties - we really want to give our future kiddo all the best things about growing up and our neighborhood is a great place to do it.

We have two amazing cats, who we adore. George is our older long haired ‘creature of the mist’, and Cosmo is our sassy Orange tabby cat. They’re both super sweet, playful, talkative, and curious. We have a bird feeder outside one of our windows and Cosmo watches it like he’s watching TV. They are very special to us.

We are fortunate to have our immediate families in our lives, and we get to spend a good amount of time with them each year. We have a niece and a nephew who we love to visit with, play games, and watch them grow up.

We go on family road trips and holiday visits a few times per year, have fun cooking together at Thanksgiving, exploring museums, playing board games, walking all the family dogs, and just spending quality time with each other.
My family (Eliot) also has experience with adoption, as one of my cousins is adopted.

While we wish our families lived a little closer, after being in Los Angeles for almost 20 years, we’ve gathered a large supportive ‘chosen family’ of friends here too. This is the family we see regularly, along with their kiddos - hanging out, going to BBQs, going on hikes, seeing movies in groups, and just getting out there.

Oh and we live close to Disneyland! We took our nephew there last year, and he had an amazing time. We look forward to taking our future kiddo for big adventures at Disney!

Every Christmas eve, we make festive red and green enchiladas. Coming from a big family in Texas (Eliot), we had Tex Mex around the house basically every time we all got together. So when the queso comes out, it really feels like home.

We recently took a trip to Poland (Danielle has Polish roots), and we're looking forward to trying out Pierogies for Christmas Eve this year.

We promise to meet challenges with patience, understanding, unconditional love, and humor.

We believe strongly that an open adoption is the best way for your child to stay connected to all the important people in their life, to stay connected to their roots, know where they come from, and grow up feeling loved by the village around them.

We promise to nurture your child’s individuality.

We believe mistakes and failure are essential for growth. Everybody makes mistakes!

We promise there will always be room for play - spontaneous puppet show, board games on rainy days, we’re ready!

We promise to love your child unconditionally, good days and bad, no matter what, so they know we always have their back, and we will always be there for them.
