We are Greg, Renee & Lexi from Oklahoma! Thank you so much for considering us to be a part of this courageous and brave journey. We believe adoption is an adventure filled with love and devotion to giving your child a fulfilling wholesome life. A child is the greatest gift you can share with someone, for it requires a selfless act of love and commitment to do so. We hope that you are able to get a preview of who we are and the loving home your child will have with us.
We met almost fourteen years ago, through a mutual friend at a graduation and have been inseparable ever since! Although we were married in 2009 in a beautiful chapel surrounded by family and friends, our journey to start a family started five years ago. After several failed pregnancies and multiple fertility treatments, we realized one day that we were meant to start a family, just in a different way. We always told ourselves that we would end up being parents to the babies we were meant to have. So, we decided to head down the path of adoption! As we get further and further and further into the process, we realize this is how our family was meant to come about all along.
We are both very active people, from going to the gym to playing sports. We enjoy hiking, riding bikes and playing softball. On the weekends, we enjoy sitting around the firepit on the back patio, making smores, grilling steaks and burgers, relaxing with family and friends. Our dream is to be able to include our children in all of these fun activities! Home is where the heart is, so we try to maintain a household with as little stress as possible. We love to keep a warm, positive atmosphere; we even have a no yelling rule. It is important to us that our children have a solid foundation at home, from where they spend their time to their relationships with their family. We believe that a solid foundation will set them up for a better, brighter future!
One of our favorite holidays is Halloween. Every year we try to visit every haunted house within driving distance. We have this amazing castle that we visit, it has everything from kiddie attractions to scary haunted trails! We do an annual pumpkin carving competition, love to dress up and hand out candy to the neighborhood kids.! We also love to cook, we will look on Pinterest for new recipes that we have never tried. Every Sunday our friends will come over and we will make a few of the recipes that we had picked out. The dishes usually turn out yummy, it’s always a good time!
I am originally from Connecticut, but over fourteen years ago, I moved to Oklahoma for nursing school. Once I met Greg, Oklahoma officially became my home and have been here ever since! I love children, especially babies. So much so that I have made a career out of taking care of them! I am a registered nurse in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. I love every minute of it! I form special bonds with the parents, and with the babies of course. I also get to work with children of all ages when I am assigned to other floors. Parents will often comment on how nurturing I am with their little ones. I am also going to school for my master’s degree to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. This will allow me to work less and still allow us to provide the best life possible for our children.
I also want to set a good example for our kids in setting goals and reaching them. I absolutely love being Lexi's mom, I have never felt such pure love. I really look forward to being able to share this love with another little one. I am extremely patient and easy going. I am very big on being a good person. I am very empathetic as well, so I love for others to be happy and at peace.
I was born in a very small town in Oklahoma, but my parents moved my brother, Tim, and I to a bigger city when we were still young. I played just about every sport there was growing up and I was always outside with friends! I went to a trade school for CNC Machining after I graduated high school and have continued in that field for the last 20 years. I'm currently a supervisor for a manufacturing company that's owned by one of the largest corporations in the world. Aside from working, I love to spend time with Renee and Lexi, finding new adventures for us all to get into. I also like to go to the gym. One of my favorite stress relievers is boxing! Overall, I am very laid back, joking and having fun most of the time!
Around different holidays we get together with friends and family to carve pumpkins, build gingerbread houses, or anything else we might have fun doing together. It's all for bragging rights, but doing it with loved ones is what makes the time spent worth it.
My dad got me hooked on building and restoring old cars and motorcycles at a young age. We used to travel the surrounding states going to shows and finding parts. I got Lexi a little tool set so she can help when I work on my cars. I look forward to having another little side kick to help us out!

We adopted Alexandra, (we call her Lexi for short), in September of 2019. We met her birth parents when she was born, they are such wonderful people! We keep in touch, through email and text. Lexi is half Cambodian and half Caucasian. From the day she was born, she has changed our lives in so many wonderful ways. Lexi is so beautiful, sweet, smart, funny, and full of spunk! Being her parents has taught us so much about how much love you can feel for another human being. There is nothing in the world like it!
We want to bring another child into our life to experience all of these same emotions with. We are also excited for Lexi to experience the love of a little brother or sister! She absolutely loves other kids; she is very sweet with babies. We know she will want to make a sibling apart of all of the fun things she likes to do such as going to the park, playing outside with the neighborhood kids, riding in her toy jeep, and reading. Her only responsibility is to just enjoying being a child; laugh, run around, and leave the rest to Mom and Dad.
We live in a four-bedroom, four bathroom, newly built home. We designed it with kids in mind! We have a game room set up for everyone to hang out in, play games, relax and watch TV. Our favorite room in the house is the kitchen. It is very open and spacious, giving us plenty of room for our Sunday night dinners! It is open to the living room, allowing us to put on the fireplace and TV while we cook. Our neighborhood is geared towards people with children. It has a pool, splash pad, a park and a pond that allows fishing! There are plenty of kids in the neighborhood which is another reason we love living here.
Kylie is a small female boxer that we rescued from a local shelter. She is almost four years old and such a sweetheart.
Ares is our big guy, he’s our four-year-old Doberman. He thinks he is still a little puppy. Lexi absolutely loves both of them. They are simply amazing with children. We are so grateful for their love and patience that they have for all of us. They really are part of our family.
Greg: My parents were married for 45 years. My Mom was always the sweetest, kindest, most down to earth person and really taught all of us about giving to others. My Dad and my brother absolutely love Lexi and are thrilled to bring another baby into the family! They say that kids keep them young and moving. And they love being able to spoil the little ones. My two cousins are actually adopted! They have been a part of the family my whole life. From being at every single soccer game, to helping me build my first car, my family has always shown me what it means to be there for one another.
Renee: Most of my family still lives in Connecticut! My parents have been married for over 35 years, and they own an Italian restaurant. Lucky for Greg and Lexi, I grew up learning all the delicious pasta recipes! My sisters are my best friends. They are smart, genuinely kind, and even a little sassy. My younger sister, Nikki, has two adorable children, Chase and Brianna. My older sister, Katherine, and her four kids live here in Oklahoma, and we are all very close. Then we have our friends who have become family. One is a NICU nurse as well, she loves caring for babies just as much as I do! She is adopted and has been so helpful in guiding us through this journey from the eyes of the adoptee.
Our promise to you, is to raise a child who knows the importance of love, kindness and forgiveness. We want to raise our children to make a difference in this world. Our promise is to raise our children in a home filled with love, laughter and joy. Everything we do as parents will be to set our children up to succeed on their own one day. We promise to raise your child to be grateful for what they have, and grateful for what they can give. We will always encourage them to remember their roots, where they came from. You can’t know where you are going until you know where you have been.
You are making such a brave and courageous decision in deciding on a family to raise your child. We want you to know that we hope you find the perfect family, whether that be us or another one, who makes you feel completely comfortable in your decision. You are giving a family a chance to make their dreams come true. More than that though, you are giving your child a chance at a great life... and that is what we call unconditional love.
