Becoming parents has been the dream in our hearts for many years. From the beginning of our marriage, we imagined building a loving family together and sharing our lives with a child. After struggling with infertility and experiencing heartbreaking losses along the way, our path to parenthood became much different than we expected. While the road has not been easy, it has brought us closer together and strengthened our appreciation for how precious a child truly is.

Through every challenge, one thing never changed - our desire to love and nurture a child. Adoption has given us renewed hope and opened our hearts to a beautiful path toward becoming parents.

Our story began online, where a simple conversation quickly turned into a meaningful connection. Svitlana immigrated to California from Ukraine, while Henry is originally from Peru and was raised in Southern California. Even before meeting in person, we quickly became best friends and loved how naturally we could talk, laugh, and enjoy each other’s company. Our first date was in Los Angeles while Svitlana was visiting on vacation, and from that moment on, we knew our connection was something special. What began as an online friendship soon grew into a deep and lasting love built on trust, kindness, laughter, and support. We have now been happily married for 13 years. Together, we have built a joyful life filled with adventure, travel, cooking, time outdoors, holiday traditions, meaningful moments with friends and family, and relaxing at home with our beloved cat.

I was born and raised in Kyiv, Ukraine, in a close and loving family. Growing up, I learned the importance of kindness, resilience, and strong family values, which continue to guide me today.

I work as a bookkeeper for an architectural firm, where I enjoy staying organized and helping things run smoothly. My flexible schedule allows me to spend meaningful time at home, travel, and maintain a balanced lifestyle. At home, I love creating a warm and welcoming space. One of my sweetest joys is our Bengal cat, Mia, whom Henry surprised me with as a Christmas gift after knowing I had always dreamed of having a kitten.

In my free time, I enjoy meditation, breathwork, traveling, wellness retreats, hiking, swimming, and baking. I value simple, meaningful moments with loved ones and look forward to sharing those moments with a child.

Svitlana is a loving and gentle soul who brings warmth and joy wherever she goes. Her laughter is contagious, and she has a natural way of making people feel welcomed, comfortable, and genuinely cared for. She brings so much light, positivity, and happiness to the lives of everyone around her. What I admire most about Svitlana is her incredibly caring heart. She is thoughtful, compassionate, and always there for the people she loves. The way she cares for family and friends inspires me every day to be a better husband and person.

I would describe myself as responsible, hardworking, and fun-loving. Becoming a father has been one of the greatest dreams of my life, and I am incredibly excited for the opportunity to love, guide, and support a child as they grow.

I work as an engineering manager for the United States Navy, a role that has taught me leadership, responsibility, and the value of helping others succeed.

I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially hiking and exploring new places. I also love learning new things, traveling, and taking cruises with Svitlana. Some of my favorite moments are the simple everyday ones we share together, such as cooking at home, watching movies, relaxing, laughing, and making memories with the people we love.

Henry is one of the greatest blessings in my life, and I feel incredibly grateful to share my life with him. He has a calm and steady presence that brings peace, comfort, and stability into our home. He is kind, patient, thoughtful, and always willing to listen and support the people he loves. What I admire most about Henry is his caring heart and dependable nature. He works very hard yet always makes time for family and the people who matter most to him. He has a wonderful sense of humor that brings so much laughter and joy into our lives, and being with him simply feels safe and easy.

I truly believe Henry will be an amazing father. He is loving, attentive, and naturally patient, and I know he will guide and support our future child with unconditional love.

We are blessed to be surrounded by loving family and friends who have shaped our lives with kindness, encouragement, and unwavering support.

Henry’s parents and most of his extended family live less than an hour away, and many of our closest friends are within 30 minutes of our home. Svitlana’s family lives in Ukraine and Florida, but we remain closely connected through frequent calls, visits, and family traditions.

A child in our family will grow up knowing they belong to a large, caring circle of grandparents, relatives, and friends who will celebrate their milestones, encourage their dreams, and be present through every season of life. They will always know how deeply they are loved and how many people are cheering them on.

Our Bengal cat, Mia, is also a cherished part of our family. From the moment we met her, we fell in love with her brave, curious, and adventurous personality. She is playful, affectionate, and always close by, whether she is exploring, chasing toys, or joining us for a walk in her leash and harness. She brings so much joy, laughter, and warmth into our home.

We live in a beautiful, family-friendly community in Rancho Santa Margarita, California. Our neighborhood is safe, welcoming, and filled with opportunities for children to learn, play, and explore. We are surrounded by parks, walking trails, community pools, excellent schools, and beautiful outdoor spaces. The beach is only a short drive away, and we are close to mountains, nature, and many family attractions, including Disneyland.

At home, we enjoy cooking together, gardening, spending time in our backyard, celebrating holidays with family and friends, and taking walks around our neighborhood. Our home is a place of comfort, laughter, and togetherness, and we look forward to filling it with bedtime stories, family traditions, and the everyday moments that make childhood so special.
