Dear Birth Mother
Thank you so much for taking the time to consider us as adoptive parents for your precious baby. We are thrilled to be able to give you a glimpse of who we are. Knowing this must be a difficult decision for you, we admire your strength and courage. Even though we don’t know you yet, we have been praying for you and your baby for a long time.
We’ve always dreamed of having a large family. After a very difficult pregnancy with our son, we have developed a deep appreciation for the wonderful gift of adoption. Our struggles have made us realize what an honor and privilege it is to be parents. You can be assured that your child will be raised in a happy home with parents who will love and cherish your child unconditionally.
Hi! We are Jonathan and Margaret from the Gulf Coast. We grew up in the same hometown and have been friends since elementary school. Jonathan had a secret crush on Margaret in middle school, but it wasn’t until after high school that he finally gathered the courage to ask her on a date. It didn’t take long to realize our relationship was something special. Four years later we were finally married. We strive to keep our relationship based on honesty, trust and our love for one another.
Eight years into our marriage, Margaret gave birth to a baby boy. We named him Andrew and he has been such a joy. We have so much love to give and are excited about adding to our family! We look forward to raising children who love God, cherish their family, and show kindness to others. Our home is full of laughter and fun, and some dancing too. We are excited and looking forward to sharing our lives with another child.

Margaret brightens every room she walks in. She is fun-loving and people are attracted to her outgoing personality. She’s always looking for ways to help others, whether by making a meal, volunteering time with children, or making a craft. Margaret is very smart and talented. She can sew, paint and cook. On top of all that, Margaret is an excellent stay at home mom to Andrew. She decided to leave her job as a Physician Assistant to be there for all of Andrew’s firsts. Margaret and Andrew stay busy with trips to the park, library, or lunch with friends. I love that her number one priority is our family and making sure we have plenty of fun.

What I love most about Jonathan is that he balances me. I’m the planner. Jonathan is spontaneous. I am a social butterfly. He is a people watcher. I cook by a recipe and he definitely does not. Jonathan is always joyful, always smiling, and always up for a road trip. I love that he is strong in his faith and puts our family first.
Jonathan has worked hard to make us financially secure. But when he comes home from work, he turns into the tickle monster, a lego architect, or Old McDonald. Andrew adores all the creative activities his daddy comes up with during playtime.

At 3 years old, Andrew is a bundle of energy and enthusiasm. At home, he loves playing with cars, dinosaurs, and Legos. He enjoys music and is a wonderfully loud singer. His favorite activity is going to the splash pad. He is learning all about sports from his daddy and granddaddy and getting pretty good at swinging a golf club. Andrew is very excited to become a big brother!
Molly the Basset Hound
Molly joined our family in 2007. She greets us at the door when we get home and expects a belly rub after dinner. She makes us laugh with her funny facial expressions and adventures with the neighbor’s dog. Molly is excellent with Andrew and loves to help wake him from his afternoon nap.
We live in a wonderful neighborhood surrounded by tall oak trees and beautiful azaleas. Our home is 4 bedrooms with lots of living space. Our backyard is full of toys and a swing set nestled in the shade. Our neighborhood is full of young children who love to bike on the sidewalks and swing on the community tire swing. Only minutes away from sand and water, we enjoy afternoons building sand castles and watching the sunset.
Family is very important to us, and we love spending time with ours any chance we can. Both of our immediate families live in the same town and are good friends. Our holidays and special occasions are spent in large groups with lots of laughter and fun.
Margaret’s family is very close. Her mom and sister are Margaret’s support system and they all talk daily. Andrew is one of four grandkids on Margaret’s side of the family. He may be the youngest but he holds his own with his three cousins. Each year, the entire extended family meet at the beach for sunshine, sand, and family card games.
There is never a dull moment with Jonathan’s family. In the fall, we get together to tailgate before big football games. It’s always a good time with lots of yummy food. In the summer, we love spending weekends at the family lake house. We spend time roasting marshmallows over a fire or out on the pontoon boat. Some of Jonathan’s favorite childhood memories are on the lake, which makes it so special to be creating the same memories with Andrew. Being the first grandchild on Jonathan’s side, Andrew enjoys watching the sunrise with his grandmother and making homemade ice cream with his great-grandmother.
We are both very blessed to have an extremely supportive and loving family. They cannot wait for our next bundle of joy!
