Hello and thank you for taking the time to get to know us! We’re Jonathan and Reilly from Santa Ana, California. As a couple, we are adventurous, family-focused and always finding reasons to laugh. Life in our home is filled with music, funny accents, fetch with our dog Betty, spontaneous singing and a shared commitment to showing up for one another. We're each other's best friend, biggest cheerleader and true partner in life. Even before we met, we both knew we wanted to be dads. We're so excited to start our own traditions and adventures as a family. We know this is a deeply personal and emotional journey and we're already in awe of your strength and love you have for your child!

As a couple, we’ve always felt called to adoption. While we’re unable to have biological children of our own, we know that many children are in need of love, support, and family, and we would be honored to be a part of their lives. Our entire extended family and friend group is ready to welcome a child with open arms. This child will be loved unconditionally and raised within a strong, joyful, and supportive community. We’re very excited about getting to know you too. We recognize that this process is a partnership, and we’re committed to walking this path together with respect and gratitude.

We met more than 11 years ago on Tinder and had our first date at a local restaurant—just a casual meet-up that quickly turned into something significant for both of us. From that first night, we were both smitten! We’ve since built a strong, deeply rooted relationship grounded in communication, respect, and a lot of laughter—we’re each other’s best friend. The next chapter? Growing our family, and we couldn’t be more excited! What makes our relationship strong is our shared values and loyalty. We are always in each other’s corner, no matter what. We truly love the life we’ve created together and can’t wait to share it with a child.

Jonathan is compassionate, adventurous, curious, and positive. He’s the kind of person who will drop everything to help someone in need—whether it’s a neighbor or a stranger with a flat tire. He’s a natural leader, incredibly generous, and effortlessly makes people feel included and uplifted. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys cooking, photography, working on home design projects, staying active (from hiking to trying new sports), and spending time with friends and family. He loves to travel and plan fun, creative trips. Friends describe him as kind, wise, and someone you can always count on for good advice and positivity. Jonathan is most excited to be a parent who cheers their child on in every way—supporting their dreams, building their confidence, and creating lasting memories together.

Jonathan is the most generous person I know. He’s the first to help, the first to include others, and the first to lead with heart. One moment that really stuck with me was when he held my newborn nephew Shea in the hospital. It was the first baby he had ever held and as tears welled in his eyes, I knew without a doubt that he would be a phenomenal dad. Kids adore Jonathan because he’s playful, fun, and present. He is the “fun uncle” who is always ready to play. He chases them around, builds a tower just to let them knock it down and he knows exactly how to make them feel safe and loved.

Reilly is loyal, nostalgic, empathetic, and deeply considerate. He’s the friend who shows up with a meal, the son who keeps family traditions alive, and the person who makes everyone laugh with his witty humor. He loves reading, collecting books, watching classic movies with loved ones, and baking—especially during the holidays. He’s a fan of theme parks, museums, the beach, and slow days filled with meaningful conversation. He’s sentimental and loves weaving family memories into our home. Friends describe him as strong in his beliefs, thoughtful, and someone who deeply values shared time and connection. Reilly is excited to create a loving environment where a child feels safe to express themselves, try new things, and dream big.

Reilly is the easiest person to love. I admire his ability to make others laugh, his strong sense of values, and the way he’s taught me to slow down and appreciate life’s simple moments. I’ve always been in awe of how naturally he connects with kids—right from the start, I knew he’d make a great dad. He’s a wonderful teacher and communicator, with a gift for making kids feel comfortable and at ease. I love watching him take a genuine interest in each of our nieces & nephews lives. His love is gentle and sincere, and I know he will be the most incredible father.

We’ve lived in our home for five years in a beautiful residential neighborhood lined with big, shady trees. Our home is cozy and warm, with a spacious kitchen and living room that are always full of life. The backyard is filled with garden beds and open grass, perfect for enjoying summer days. We can’t wait to hear our child share about their day while we cook dinner together as a family. Our neighborhood is full of families, including Reilly’s sister and her kids just blocks away. We know our neighbors by name and love participating in community events like progressive holiday dinners and 4th of July block parties. Halloween is a highlight, with hundreds (literally!) of trick-or-treaters filling the streets. We feel incredibly lucky to live in such a warm, welcoming place and can’t wait to raise a child here.

Reilly works in public relations for the Disneyland Resort, and Jonathan works in commercial real estate with his family’s business. Both of our jobs offer flexibility and family-friendly hours. Reilly works in a positive, supportive environment surrounded by colleagues who also value work-life balance—and yes, the Disneyland perks are a big hit with our nieces and nephews! Jonathan’s job provides stability and flexibility. Our work helps us create the kind of life we’ve envisioned for our future family.

Our dog Betty is a mid-sized German Shepherd mix with lots of personality and love. We’ve had her since she was four months old, and she’s been part of our everyday life ever since. She curls up with us on the couch, joins us on errands and hikes, and plays with other dogs in the family. Betty is great with kids—gentle, loving, and playful. We know she will be both protective and affectionate with a child.

Family means the world to us, and boy are we lucky to have a big tribe! Both of our families live close by - Reilly’s within 15 minutes and Jonathan’s within 30. We see both of them often and are very close with all of our siblings. We also have ten nieces and nephews (and counting) running from one to nine years. They’re all so excited to welcome a new cousin!

Family traditions are a big part of our lives. Reilly’s side has pool days, barbecues and pickleball competitions together, and Jonathan’s side enjoys beach days and Sunday dinners together. We celebrate birthdays and holidays with lots of enthusiasm, and our parents are hands-on grandparents who love having the kids over for sleepovers or weekend activities. They say it takes a village to raise a child, and our friends and family couldn’t be more supportive of our adoption journey. Everyone is ready to welcome this child with open arms and hearts.

We’ve both dreamed of being dads for as long as we can remember. What we hope to provide is a home filled with unconditional love, security, laughter, and support. We want our child to feel seen, heard, and celebrated for exactly who they are. We hope to be the kind of parents who show up for every moment, big and small, and who model empathy, kindness, and integrity in everyday life. We believe in creating structure but also making space for joy and spontaneity. Our child will be encouraged to dream big, explore their interests, and know they always have a soft place to land with us. We hope to pass on our values of compassion, gratitude, inclusion, and resilience. And we know that this journey begins with your love and sacrifice, and we’re committed to honoring that always.
