Hi! Our names are Marisa & Demarco. We live in beautiful Menifee, California. We first want to thank you for taking time to view our profile and we hope this will give you an idea of what kind of parents we will be.
We have been together for over 20 years! We have always dreamed of raising a child together and sharing the love and laughter that we share every day. Thank you so much for considering sharing the gift of life with us and we are humbled and honored to see the strength and courage that you have to take this step. If we are blessed to be chosen by you, please know that your child will be our entire world and they will always know of your great love and generosity.
What brought us to adoption: After many unsuccessful attempts at getting pregnant, we agreed that adoption was the best decision for us.
We met at Demarco’s work in 2003 and quickly became inseparable, spending most of our time together. Fast forward to 2006, when Demarco popped the question and we have not stopped growing and loving since. We consider ourselves best friends and soulmates. We share a very goofy sense of humor, love of creativity and faith.
We have a lovely home, close to family and friends that we share with our pups, Xena and Luna Belle. We love to walk our dogs around the neighborhood each morning and share quality weekends together exploring our community and visiting our neighbors. We love to hang out with our children, visit with family, and travel or take staycations nearby. We are always traveling and exploring and can’t wait to share our adventures with our future child.
I grew up in Los Angeles, California, with both my parents and my younger brother, Rodney. We are a very close family. During the summer months, my younger brother and I spent lots of time with our grandparents on both sides. My parents were working professionals and they instilled in me early, a strong work ethic and the importance of work/life balance. I obtained my first job at 13 years old as a Tutor. After high school, I attended college and received my MBA and my undergraduate degree. Through my experiences I've learned that teamwork makes the dream work, which is a mantra that I live by.
In 2006, I entered the real estate industry and our real estate group was established, a full-service husband and wife real estate company. In 2019, our solar division was established and I manage and run both companies virtually from home. I will use this work/life freedom to shower love and constant affection on your child and to be here for all of his or her most important moments.
Marisa is loving, understanding, compassionate, and selfless which is why I love and appreciate her. From the first time we met, in a sort of unconventional way, I sensed there was something very different and special about her. I’ve come to realize that she is my better half, constantly motivating and challenging me to be the best version of myself. Scripture tells us in Proverbs 18:22 “He who finds a wife, finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord”, and nothing could be closer to the truth with Marisa. Most of all, I love how she loves the Lord and loves our family, which makes me know for sure that she’ll be a wonderful mother!
I was born and raised in San Diego, California until the age of 18. I was primarily raised by my Father along with my two younger brothers. I was fortunate to have a good family support system and stability growing up. I participated in sports all my life, which taught me the value of discipline, hard work, and how to get along well with others. I moved to Long Beach after High School to go to college and got into the sales industry where I thrived. First Auto sales, then the mortgage industry, followed by my current industry of real estate.
Since 2010, my wife and I have been a husband/wife real estate and solar team and have experienced great success. Our team and business has consistently grown each and every year, which now allows us both the financial means, and the time, to properly care for your child and provide them with a secure future.
Demarco is loving, compassionate, open minded and hard working. He loves his family very much and his children adore him. I admire his self-discipline and his continued quest for growth, spiritually, mentally, and physically. When not at work, Demarco enjoys watching his favorite sport (which is any and ALL sports with a ball), watching movies, and lounging with his family and fur babies.
Demarco is an amazing dad. I have watched him raise all his children and he is the most patient, understanding and supportive parent that I know. Not only is he an amazing father, but he is also an equally amazing husband. He puts in 100% effort daily to make sure that his family is protected and provided for, and I am truly blessed to have him. I can’t think of a better person or a more loving household to love and raise your child in.

We love it here! We own a 4-bedroom home in a great family-friendly city of California, located a short car drive away from the beach, mountains and desert! We live on a cul-de-sac street and there are many families with several young children. Our neighborhood is amazing as we have 2 police officers, the Mayor of the City and the head of our HOA board, all on our street. We’re within walking distance of a kiddie pool, tennis courts, baseball field, and numerous dog parks. Our favorite part of our house is the backyard where we relax often and there is plenty of space for children to play. During the Christmas holidays, our entire community participates in Christmas decorating contests and during Halloween, we get the most adorable trick or treaters.
Luna Belle is our 4-year-old eight-pound Maltese. She enjoys laying on our laps or bossing her big sister, Xena, around.
Xena Marie is our 3-year-old overgrown puppy. She is happiest when walking with Demarco or lounging on the rug. Xena is calm, obedient, loving, and a huge snorer when she’s sleeping.
We know both Xena and Luna will quickly become attached and very loyal to a new addition to the family.
Marisa’s mom and Dad were married for 30 years before her Dad passed in 2009. She has a younger brother who has one child, her niece Tanyla Janelle. Marisa visits with her mother a couple times a week, just to spend time with her watching TV or going to the grocery store. She is so excited and looking forward to the arrival of her new grandchild.
We have a large and loving network of family and friends, and they can’t wait to be introduced to your child and to take on the title of Auntie or Uncle. The majority of Demarco’s family live locally including his father and step-mother. We regularly get together with them for dinner dates, concerts, and during the many family events hosted throughout the year. Our family is big on being together.
• Sakoiya (26 years old) Sakoiya is the first born and definitely a daddy’s girl. With that being said, she also gladly accepts her role as big sister and guides her younger brothers and sisters to do the right thing.
• Demarco (24 years old) He is very hard-working and is engaged to his high school sweetheart. He is very patient, kind, thoughtful, and caring, traits he learned from his dad.
• Makayla (21 years old) Makayla was 5 years old when we got married and she has always been the sweetest, most polite, and loving child. Now that she is an adult, she has taken a lot after Marisa in that she is very mature for her age.
• Miani (17 years old) Miani is called the “little genius” in our family. She is an avid reader and loves using the Internet to research things that interest her.
• Amaije (AJ) (16 years old) AJ is the youngest and is quietest and most reserved of the group. He enjoys playing basketball and video games and spending time with his older brothers and sisters.
We want to thank you for taking the time to read our story and learn about what makes our family special! There is no greater gift we could ask from the world than to bring a child into our home that we can shower with love and affection. If our family seems like the right fit for your child, we would love the opportunity to speak with or meet you.
