Natalie and Francisco

Dear Birth Parents:

We are Francisco and Natalie Arredondo from Southern California, and we would like to thank you for considering adoption. You are helping us start our beautiful family. We cannot begin to express how your selfless decision to have your baby adopted by a loving and caring family is going to change our lives forever.

How We Met and Life Today (by Natalie)

We met a little over five years ago when Natalie went to Francisco’s family’s automotive shop to have her car repaired. Since it was early on Saturday morning Natalie was just in jeans and a t-shirt, no make-up and not thinking she was about to meet the most important person in her life! Much to her embarrassment a handsome guy (Francisco!) gave her a ride home. We were both invited to Disneyland by Francisco’s sister in law, and got to know each other more at the Happiest Place on Earth!

Shortly before we got married Natalie was diagnosed with IGA Nephropathy which is a form of kidney disease which poses a 50/50 risk for Natalie to have kidney damage and even kidney failure during and or after giving birth. It was a no-brainer for us to turn to adoption to start a beautiful loving family of our own. Together we enjoy camping, going to the dog park, playing board games, going for rides on the motorcycle, going to Dodger games, and watching movies.

Francisco through the eyes of Natalie,

I knew after our Disneyland trip there was something special about him. He was just so easy to talk with and I loved seeing how he was with his family and how much he loves and cares for them. The first thing that attracted me to him was his easy-going nature and of course his love for animals. I knew from day-one that he was the one. We had a lot in common such as our love for animals, fishing, camping, hiking, attending Disneyland, going to Dodger games, and we shared the same family values. I quickly grew to learn about Francisco’s love for cars and motorcycles! We have been together for 5 years and have been married for 2 ½ years. He loves kids- it is great to see him with his two great nephews and two great nieces. He is patient, kind, and extremely caring about other people.

Natalie through the eyes of Francisco,

When I first met Natalie at my shop, I was immediately curious and wanted to get to know her! On the short drive to her home to drop her off it was quite interesting to learn that we had several mutual friends and family friends. To my surprise we even went to the same high school, however I was 3 grades ahead of her. We were always so close in proximity to one another and we never knew it.

After our first trip to Disneyland I knew there was something about Natalie and I could not let her escape from my life. Natalie became my best friend, and who better to marry than my best friend!

Natalie’s love for animals is another great quality as we both love and care for our dogs and latest addition, Dodger the guinea pig. Natalie is amazing to watch with my nephews as they gravitate to her! Her unconditional love is amazing and she love to play with my nephews and our friends children as well. I just know Natalie will be an amazing mother and will show our child the value of honesty, respect, and unconditional love.

Where we live

Francisco and I live in a suburban area north of Los Angeles. We live in a two-story condo that has three bedrooms, two baths, living room, a cozy loft, kitchen, and lovely backyard. We are currently working on our nursery, preparing the furniture, and getting all the important things set-up! Our neighborhood has a community pool and playground. There are lots of younger kids that play up and down the street, riding bicycles, going for walks with their siblings and parents, and you will also find several families walking their pets.

There are several schools near us which we will consider for our child. We want to ensure that our child will get the best education possible. We will also show them the importance of respecting themselves, and to live an active and healthy life style.

Our Families

Natalie: I was raised by my wonderful parents. I have a younger brother name Daniel who lives close by to us, and we are very close. Unfortunately, our family suffered a tragedy when my youngest brother Michael passed away. Our parents live very close as well and we spend a lot of them with them. Our small family has always been very close and we were always doing something and/or going somewhere when we were kids, like camping, family gatherings, shared holidays, family trips to San Diego – we were always having fun together! I want to create the same type of childhood for our children that my parents gave to us.

Francisco: I am the youngest of 4 children. My oldest sister is 8 years older than I am, and she was like a second mom to me and I was always tagging along with her. Much like Natalie’s family, our family was always close and also use to get together with uncles, aunts, and cousins for BBQ’s and holidays. We were always doing something and going somewhere. Currently we all live within 6 miles from one another so it’s a quick drive to see anyone of my siblings and or parents!

Our Faith, by Francisco

Natalie and I were both born and raised Catholic and are still active in our faith. We attend the church were we got married as often as we can. When we first found out the risk in regard to us having children naturally, we turned to our faith and that is when we knew that adoption was the way to create our beautiful family.

Meet our fur-babies!!!

Martini is one of our two princesses in the house. She is a 7-year-old black Pug that tends to run the show! She is always very alert and is the most charismatic out of our 3 dogs. Maralyn is our other princess. She is a 7-year-old blue nose Pitbull. Maralyn tends to lay around and relax as often as we let her. Both Martini and Maralyn love to cuddle with us either in the bed or on the couch when we are watching television or movies. Cheech is our “Old Man”. Cheech is a 14-year-old Pug. He has selective hearing and is starting to lose his vision. Although his vision and hearing isn’t what it used to be, his nose still works better than ever, because he can smell food from where ever!

Our latest addition to the family is Dodger the guinea pig. He is such an active little bugger, running back and forth and in circles in his kennel. Much like the dogs, when we get home from work he too runs to the end of his kennel to greet us! We love our fur babies and they know how spoiled they are.

Our Promise

Our promise to you is that we will provide the love and care for our child the best way we know and how our parents showed us! We both want to be parents to start and grow our family. We promise to love our child unconditionally and show them how to live a fun and fulfilled life.

In closing, we want to thank you for doing the most selfless thing any expecting parent can do. We appreciate you so much. Thank you!
