Hello! We're Alex & Alex, from Dallas, Texas. We are so excited to become parents and want to thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. Family is at the center of our lives. We both come from loving, close-knit families who can’t wait to meet our future child. Together with our dogs, Honey and Tasha, we have built a warm, happy home.

On weekends, you’ll usually find us taking long walks with the dogs, cooking together, spending time with friends and family, or attending church on Sundays. We deeply admire the love, strength, and selflessness it takes to consider adoption. Thank you for considering us and giving us the opportunity to share a little about ourselves.

We have always dreamed of becoming parents and creating a loving family. After an emotional journey and challenges with conceiving naturally, we felt called to pursue adoption. We believe God has guided us to this path and chosen us to fulfill His plan for our lives as adoptive parents. To us, family is built not only through biology, but through love, commitment, and connection. We are incredibly excited for this journey and wholeheartedly ready to welcome a child into a home filled with love, stability, laughter, and joy.

We met at the gym and spent a few years crossing paths through mutual friends before realizing there might be something more here. What started as an easy friendship grew into a relationship that felt like a natural fit, thanks to our similar sense of humor and a lot of shared values. After a few years of dating, we married in the fall of 2022, and we’ve loved building a life together ever since. We’re big on quality time; whether it’s just the two of us or with the people we love most. Family and friends mean everything to us, and we’re blessed to have ours nearby, including our two nephews, who keep life extra fun!

We both love to spend time with our two dogs cuddled up on the couch. We enjoy staying active through activities like hiking, skiing, and walking our neighborhood nature trails. We love to travel and make it a priority to take a trip every few months. Every summer we head to the mountains in Colorado, our favorite place to escape the heat and explore.

You can also find us out on any dance floor together! We discovered our love for dancing when we took lessons leading up to our wedding. So much of what we love is built around spending time with our family and friends and we can’t wait to make your child a part of our family, sharing our passions with them and helping them discover their own!

I grew up in Dallas, Texas and moved to Arkansas, where I played collegiate softball. Sports have always been my biggest passion, and I started playing at a very young age. After earning my teaching degree, I coached high school softball while teaching elementary PE and for the past four years, I have worked in real estate. Looking ahead, I hope to be a stay-at-home mom, volunteering at my child’s school and cheering them on from the sidelines. I find so much joy in caring for my loved ones, whether it’s cooking dinner each night or creating a warm and welcoming home. In my free time, I enjoy reading, listening to sports talk radio, and hunting for vintage treasures at estate sales. I am beyond ready to add a child to our family and share the love, support, and traditions that mean so much to me.

Alex’s character pulled me in first, but her beauty and loyalty made me stay. Faith, family, and adventure are the strongest threads that bind us. In her, I found my best friend, someone I can be completely myself around, and a wife who brings out the best in me. She is the most dedicated person I’ve ever met, a natural caregiver to me and to “The Ladies,” always choosing to put others first. She carries a deep passion to serve her family and build a home that’s loving, stable, and safe, the kind of home she was made to create. Her family is her anchor. Everything she drives toward, every ounce of effort she pours out, traces back to them in some way.

I was raised by parents who showed me that faith is the foundation for life. That foundation gave me the discipline to excel in sports, in school, and now in my career, and it’s something I can’t wait to pass on to our child. Our life is a balance of discipline and adventure, because life is too short to take too seriously. I stay active in the gym, on neighborhood walks, and on the golf course, and I’m always chasing the next destination, whether it’s mountains or rainforest. I’ve recently picked up a new habit I’m proud of: reading. A pile of novels, nonfiction, and adventure stories usually end up on my nightstand. I can’t wait to spend time with our future child, passing on the ideals instilled in me and the adventures the world has to offer. My hope is that our future child looks back on a childhood full of happy memories and knows they always had a family who loved them, supported them, & always had their back.

Alex is the best man I’ve ever met. He is incredibly driven and is always striving to grow both personally and professionally. He has a kind and generous heart and takes care of the people he loves. Alex is funny and light-hearted and makes life way more fun! Whether he’s planning a trip or learning a new skill, Alex is always eager to embrace life to the fullest. One of the things I admire most about him is the way he loves with his whole heart. His strong faith inspires me daily, and he continually encourages me to be a better person and Christian. Alex is supportive, easy to talk to, and deeply loyal. Our nephews absolutely adore him and are always excited when he is around. They can count on him to play games for hours, jump on the trampoline, and read them their favorite books. I know Alex will make an incredible father and I can't wait to go on this lifelong journey of parenthood together.

We live in a beautiful four-bedroom home with our sweet dogs, Honey and Tasha. We spend lots of time with “our ladies,” as we call them, walking the neighborhood, playing in the backyard, and cuddling up on the couch. Our neighborhood is full of families, with two parks just a short walk away, and a wonderful elementary school nearby. We can’t wait for bike rides to and from school with our children someday. We’re also members of a local country club, where we love playing tennis, swimming, and spending time with friends at events. We look forward to including our children in all the fun our small community has to offer.

Honey is our 2-year-old golden retriever. She is happiest walking the neighborhood, digging holes in our backyard, and playing with her sister. She was rescued as a stray in February 2025 and has turned from timid and unsure into a sweet, funny gal.

Tasha is our 9-year-old Staffordshire terrier and is the cuddliest girl. Tasha’s days consist of long hours sleeping on the couch interrupted by meals and Honey’s persistence to play. She loves to be wherever her people are and always requests to be tucked in at night.

Since both of us grew up in Dallas, we have lots of family nearby. Alex’s (Mom) parents and brother live 15 minutes away and we usually see them every weekend to play board games or for a late afternoon lunch. Her mom and dad will be grandparents for the first time and are ecstatic to spoil their future grandchild as much as they spoil our dogs!

Alex’s (Dad) mom, brother and nephews also live in Dallas. Alex’s mom often has us over for her delicious dinners. We love having our nephews, Hudson and Hays, over for sleepovers to give their parents a much deserved date night. The boys keep us busy with visits to the park and the pool. We also have a playroom set up for them with tons of books, cars, action figures, and a play kitchen.

We love hosting so our house is the home base for both sides of our family. Our door is always open for dinners and holiday gatherings. We also throw an annual Super Bowl party for our friends, family, and neighbors.

As our marriage has grown, so has our faith. We attend church and Bible study weekly and have placed God at the center of our marriage. Our small group has become incredibly close over the years as we have gone through ups and downs together. Another couple in our group has also adopted and we have leaned on them during our wait for a child. We believe God chose us as part of His plan to become adoptive parents.

We hope to instill in our future child the values that shaped us— compassion, humility, discipline, faith, and a love for God—while providing a strong and stable foundation for their future. We look forward to continuing family traditions of quality time, home-cooked meals, and sharing stories, while creating new traditions through annual trips, celebrations, and adventures. We hope to give a child opportunities beyond those we had, while passing on our love of an active lifestyle. We also want to embrace their unique interests and grow alongside them.

Above all, we promise to love them unconditionally, celebrate who they are, and welcome them into our family with all our hearts.
