We believe adoption is a beautiful way to have a child and that it is the right path for us. After trying to grow our family and hitting some bumps in the road, we stepped back to think about what we really wanted, and for us, it was simply to be Mom and Dad. Choosing adoption felt like such a natural, hopeful step, and we are so genuinely excited about this next chapter.

We met at work in 2013, starting out as coworkers and quickly becoming best friends before we ever began dating. From the very beginning, we bonded over our similar sense of humor, a shared love for trying new desserts, and finding joy in the simple, everyday moments. Over the years, we’ve built a life centered around friendship, mutual support, and a lot of laughter. One of the things we love most about our relationship is the traditions we’ve created together. Every holiday season, we look forward to visiting Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood and hosting our annual Christmas party with close friends. We also make sure to celebrate our wedding anniversary every year in Palm Springs. These moments mean the world to us, and we are so excited to one day share them with a child, while also creating brand new traditions as a growing family.

Growing up in such a close-knit-family shaped who I am and inspired my dream of becoming a parent. I’ve always hoped to create the same sense of belonging, connection, and unconditional love for a child of my own. My faith is an important part of who I am and guides the way I live, love, and care for others. While family is something I take seriously, I also believe life should be filled with laughter and fun. Friends and family would describe me as funny, loving, and creative. I have a soft spot for monkeys and Donald Duck. I am always trying to collect unique pieces to add to my collection. If there’s a holiday on the calendar, chances are I already have a theme planned for it. I love decorating our home, hosting game nights, and finding creative ways to bring people together.

Roxy and I met as cubicle neighbors back in our mortgage days, and right from the start, we just clicked. What began as everyday banter quickly grew into my favorite relationship. I fell in love with her warm smile, her endless kindness, and how naturally comfortable she makes everyone feel. She has this beautiful way of celebrating the people around her and making sure they feel truly cherished. Even after all these years, Roxy still brings so much joy and laughter into my everyday life. She keeps me on my toes, and even with our funny differences, like her turning in early while I stay up late, we balance each other out perfectly.

Roxy is my best friend, my constant support, and the absolute heart of our home. Watching how deeply and selflessly she cares for the people (especially me) in her life gives me complete confidence in the mother she will be, and I can’t wait to see her share that overflowing love with a child.

As the youngest of three, I learned early on how to navigate a busy household, developing a strong sense of respect, responsibility, and emotional balance. Faith and family grounded my upbringing, from attending Catholic school to serving as an altar server on Sundays. I went on to earn my BA in Psychology from Cal Poly Pomona, applying that discipline to my career in finance. Today, I serve as the “banker”, a role requiring deep trust, precision, and accountability. In my personal life, I value simple daily rhythms and logical problem-solving. My wife, Roxy, and I love discovering new shows together, and I enjoy unwinding with music and random trivia.

I carry the same strong values, steady work ethic, and emotional groundedness I was raised with, and I look forward to bringing that reliable foundation to fatherhood.

Jun is easily the hardest-working person I know, but what I love most about him is how much joy he brings into our everyday life. He makes me laugh like no one else can. He is naturally thoughtful, whether he’s stopping on his way home to surprise me with my favorite iced tea or taking my parents out for lunch on Sundays, he always puts family first. Jun embodies hard work and determination, but he has the biggest heart to go with it. Watching him with our goddaughter, nieces, and nephew says everything, the second “Uncle Jun” walks through the door, their faces light up.

He is my best friend, an incredible husband, and I know without a doubt he is going to be the best dad.

In our daily lives, we love keeping things simple, active, and fun. Roxy is happiest anywhere near the water, whether it’s lounging by a pool, spending a day at the beach, or taking a quick weekend trip. Jun is big on health and fitness and even turned our garage into a home gym to get in a daily workout and clear his head.

We both love being the “fun aunt and uncle.” We’re always taking our goddaughter, nieces, and nephew out to explore new spots, local food festivals, or fun weekend activities.

At the end of the day, whether we are hosting a competitive game night, hunting down a great new dinner spot, or just unwinding with a movie on Friday night, our favorite moments are always the ones spent with family and friends.

We live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood in Orange, California. It’s the kind of place where kids ride their bikes down the street and neighbors pause to wave and look out for one another. Right down the block, there’s a bike path along the creek that leads straight to a nearby park, which is a great spot for afternoon walks.

Having good local elementary schools just a few blocks away makes the whole area feel very family-oriented. Being just five minutes from the historic Orange Circle is another big plus for us. It’s a fun spot to visit for the weekend farmers market, seasonal food festivals, or just getting out for a bit. Our neighborhood gives us a nice balance of a peaceful, welcoming feel while keeping us close to our extended family. We feel really grateful to be rooted in such a supportive community, and we look forward to raising a child here.

We are so lucky to have a huge, close-knit circle of family and friends surrounding us. To us, there really isn’t a line between the two. Our best friends have been by our sides for years, they have keys to our place, house sit for us, and are the first people we call when we have big news or just want to hang out. Our family is big, loud, and full of energy. Gatherings are a constant in our lives, usually centered around amazing food, lots of stories, and endless laughter. Between our parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and a whole crew of nieces, nephews, and our goddaughter, there’s always someone stopping by or something fun on the calendar. Whether we’re celebrating holidays, hosting a competitive game night, or sticking to our favorite traditions, everyone shows up for each other.

Any child coming into our family is going to grow up with so much love, continuous support, and a whole team of aunts, uncles, and cousins ready to shower them with affection.

Becoming parents is something we’ve dreamed about for a long time. When we think about our future, it’s the everyday moments that get us most excited, bedtime stories, weekend morning pancakes, teaching them how to ride a bike, and just watching who they grow up to be. We want to give a child a home where they always feel safe, loved, and supported no matter what. We hope to pass down the values we grew up with, hard work, kindness, and keeping family close, while giving them the freedom to follow their own passions and be fully themselves. More than anything, we are ready to open our hearts and lives completely, and we can’t wait to give a child a lifetime of love, stability, and happy memories.
