Hello, we're Lyndsay and Kyle. We live in Orange County, California, ten minutes from the beach, surrounded by family and friends who can't wait to meet your child.

We know you're the one making the hardest decision in this, and nothing on this page makes it easier. We're not going to pretend we understand what these months have been like for you. We just want you to know us: our home, our people, and what a life with us would actually look like day to day.

Adoption is how we get to be parents. We've got a house built for a child, and more love than we know what to do with. If we're the right fit, we'd spend the rest of our lives being good to them and making sure they always know where they came from.

We're not able to carry a child ourselves, and adoption is how we get to be parents. That's the whole story behind why you're reading this.

We want to be parents more than anything, and this is our path there. Our home, our family, and our friends are ready for a child.

We grew up together in a small town in Southern California and were middle school crushes in sixth grade. It took us fifteen years to do anything about it. High school, college, and years of not talking at all came in between. Kyle came home for Christmas in 2017 and we reconnected. The same spark was there, but this time he made a move.

He proposed in a Portland treehouse in 2022, and we got married in Los Angeles in 2023, surrounded by both of our families.

We stay busy. Kyle surfs, we snowboard in the winter, we hike, we play a lot of pickleball, we throw pottery, and we cook for whoever shows up. We've traveled together through Europe, Asia, and Central America. Closer to home, we love a weekend in the mountains or a day trip to Catalina Island. None of that stops for a kid. It just means we start earlier and pack more snacks. We're already debating which trip we'd do first.

At home, we're a house of routines: Sunday dinners, a standing pickleball game, and a running list of board games we take far too seriously. We love having friends and family over. Our door's usually open, and it stays that way through dessert.

I grew up in Orange County and I'm the oldest of my siblings, so I've been the one people lean on since I was a kid myself. I've got a B.A. in Sociology and a teaching credential from Cal State Long Beach and San Francisco State, and I spent years teaching 3rd and 5th grade before joining our family business as Operations Manager. I love that work, but raising a child full time is the one job I've always wanted, and I'm ready to leave the day a baby comes home.

I host every holiday at our house, I throw pottery, I picked up line dancing recently, and I can get a stranger's toddler to calm down in about nine seconds. Teaching taught me patience I didn't know I had, and how much I like being the steady one in a room full of kids. I can't wait to do all of it for a child of my own: the holidays, the bedtime stories, being the one who's always there.

She's the warmest person in any room she walks into. Ten minutes after meeting someone, they're already telling her something real. Friends, family, strangers she met that night. They trust her before they can explain why.

She doesn't do anything halfway. When she commits to a person, it's permanent. In all the years I've known her, I've never once seen her get tired of showing up for someone. She was a teacher because she's genuinely good with kids, not because it looked good on paper, and that's not a small distinction.

I've never met anyone who wanted this more, or who'd be better at it.

I grew up in Orange County, as an only child, and I've got a Bachelor’s in Industrial & Systems Engineering and a Master’s in Engineering Management from the University of Southern California. I built a dog treat company from the ground up and eventually sold it. I've done it again with a pickleball paddle company, which I now run as CEO.

Owning the business means I set my own hours, and I set them so I can be home. That's not a someday plan, it's how our week already works. I try to surf or exercise before heading to the office in the mornings, and I'll drag anyone out to the pickleball courts or up a mountain. I'm looking forward to being the dad who shows up to every practice, game or recital, because I've built my schedule so that's possible. Whatever a child wants to become, I'll find a way to help them get there.

He's never once told me that something couldn't be done. He built a company out of a garage and sold it, then did it again in an industry he had no background in. Something breaks at home, or a friend calls with a problem, and he sits with it until it's solved.

For all of that, he doesn't take himself too seriously. He surfs before work and will find any excuse for a board game or a hike. I can't wait to watch how much fun our child has with him, and how much patience he'll bring to teaching them something new.

We've got one dog and one cat, and zero personal space. Ella, our dog, loves cuddles and naps most of the day in the sun on the back patio. Paisley, our cat, rules the house, bosses Ella around, and is a sucker for head scratches. Both of them have grown up around our friends' kids and love them. Ella follows the little ones from room to room, and even Paisley lets them pet her. We know they'll be just as good with a baby of our own.

We both grew up here, and so did our parents. Nobody's moved away and nobody plans to. Kyle's parents are twelve minutes away, and Lyndsay's are fifteen minutes away. Impromptu family dinners happen most weeks, and holidays mean a full house. Between us, this child would have two great-grandparents with stories to tell, four grandparents who already intend to spoil them, and six aunts and uncles who are already asking when they can babysit. Lyndsay's younger brother, Jagger, is at the top of that list.

Our closest friends already have a full generation of kids growing up together, with more on the way. Between the two families and our friends, this child will have a crew of built-in playmates and adults who love them before they even meet.

We take every holiday too far. Lyndsay's dad decorated and dressed up for every holiday like it was a competition, and she inherited all of it. Kyle never fought it. Now it all happens at our house, and friends and family show up for costumes at Halloween, games on Christmas Eve, and a full Thanksgiving spread. It's loud, it’s fun, and it's exactly what we want a childhood to feel like.

We live in Costa Mesa, California, in a two-story, five-bedroom house on a quiet street with kids on bikes and a park at the end of the block. We're ten minutes from the beach, twenty minutes from Disneyland, and in a top-10 school district. There's a farmers market a short drive away and a nature preserve within walking distance.

We bought this house with a growing family in mind, and we've got all the room for it: a yard to play in, bedrooms we haven't filled yet, and close-knit neighbors with little kids of their own. It's the kind of street where kids end up playing in more than one yard by the end of the afternoon, and where we already know which neighbors to call if we need a hand.
